As someone who preaches the gospel of eye test,I know its illogical to judge deep playmakers with assists but one thing I know is that none of who he is being compared to or claimed he is better than,will have those number of passes without having a single assist. Yea I like flashy players but that doesn't mean I dont when to draw the line when accessing a player's strength and weaknesses. Our very own john obi mikel wasn't flashy but I dont think he had a bigger fan than myself on this thread . Jorginho starting under every manager is just the case of when the preferable becomes unavailable, the available becomes the preferable.
