Thats what you think but most times transfer doesn’t work that way. As at the time liverpool signed VVD he didn’t worth that fee but had to be signed because the coach needed him. Some players are signed to automatically improve the team into dominance, some for business purpose and while others for future purpose. The first reason is mostly expensive.
