Anyone familiar with how fights go will tell that all the ingredients of an upset were hiding in plain sight

The whole talk of fighting Canelo seems funny now in hindsight because Usman's strike defense is laughable. He's too easy to hit. Also the wrestling. Imagine he had any form of submission skills or could GnP like Khabib. That fight would have been over so fast

Kumaru is a pressure fighter. Their style takes a lot of hits just like Joe Frazier in boxing. Of course he can't fight Canelo but he remains one of, if not the greatest UFC fighter of all time. Leon was outclassed but got lucky. He capitalised on Kumarus weak point cos Kumari always moves his head like a boxer would, anticipating hits from his opponents hands. That move Kumaru made before being knocked out was a perfect boxers stance, little did he know Leon was preparing the leg strike which he never saw coming. I don't think it will repeat itself if they fight again.

You're right. He is a pressure fighter but his head movement is really poor. It's not a knock on him, wrestlers are typically terrible boxers

Obviously the size of the head might be a factor grin It's why I was laughing when I heard he wanted to go up to 205. That his hittable head if Jiri Prochazka knack am e go join him ancestors for Auchi

I can't fault Kamaru entirely for the K.O I only wish he stood and ate the jab like he had been doing all night. Leon is a sniper but he has no real power. I don't recall him even wobbling Kamaru with his hands.

Kamaru maximised his skills but there's still a few holes in his game.

Make I no lie, immediately I see that guy prediction turned out exactly right (tho in reverse grin), I begin fear for Liverpool. I mean someone who predicted Chelsea to win, Barca to lose, Lewy not to score and Liverpool to win and ALLL of them turned out wrong suppose be dey anointed.
