This is a very very clean 09 regstd CRV has a mileage of 26k,its fabric seat,alloys.U av repairs to do anyways.It had a door accident.Though its been fixed,its still a lil obvious.Also,the owner changed the gear to an 05 CRV gear hence the movement is not so smoooth.So if U ll ever buy it,U av to do a change of gear to do and a new door to fix,better still repair the existing one.Total of which wont cost U more than 300k plus the 1.7m which we sell and U ll av a nearly toks 09 CRV AS THE RIDE WAS NOT LONG USED IN 9JA BY THE DIRECT BUYER.Remember the average 09 9ja used CRV sells for 2.4m

All of you screaming SCAM are just being childish. He has stated what was wrong with the car. If the owner bought a 2005 gear on his 2009 CRV then he must av been cash strapped. This is wat I HATE about Nigerians.....Just like our impotent and unintelligent President.

He has just provided u with details of the car, which can be likened to SALVAGE TITLE in the US. What is wrong with us? cant we just ask questions for further clarification. If a WHITE MAN presents the same car, we're fine with it, but not from our own brother.

@lekky2, Some cars even with diffrent body build have the same engine (but different gearbox). I used to own a 2005 Corolla (bank type, the one with 2 lights beside the plate number), that car has the same engine with a 2008-9 Corolla. Half-educated Nigerian mechanics can be fooolish to believe the gearbox are the same(inasmuchas it can be coupled 2geda).

THE BROTHER HAS GIVEN US HIS HONEST DEAL, IF BERGER BOYS SEE THIS CAR, THEY WOULD PRESENT IT TO YOU AS TOKUNBO & THE SAME HEDIOT WOULD BUY IT AS TOKUNBO. They would only offer you free _(fake) registration which you jump and rejoice at.

Let us all try to learn some basic things that might help save our country now and in the future.

Guys should appreciate the sincerity displayed by the poster here. And an allowance has been made in the pricing to cushion the burden of repair expenses. What exactly is now the issue. Do people want the car for FREE?
If you are not interested, then move on to other posts. There's nothing to suggest a scam in this ad in my opinion.

In all fairness a sellable price for this vehicle would be in the range of 900k - 1mill.

350k is not a confirmed figure to fix this vehicle in a way any individual would be thoroughly satisfied with. Reason being is that the transmission shift solenoids and clutch pressure solenoids of an '05 & '09 CR-V will not be the same in any way. Whoever converted the gear has definitely re-wired the transmission electronics to the current PCM (powertrain control module) for the vehicle to even move. Once the factory wires are cut and sliced you will basically have to re-wire the whole system back to factory spec with an appropriate '09 CR-V transmission wiring diagram. This would be such a tedious process and can only be performed by an experienced transmission/electrical technician.

In this process some other parts/components may have been affected. This can only be determined once the current '05 gear is removed and everything is thoroughly inspected. I am certain other issues will creep up during repairs. I have seen many technicians here install gearboxes of other models and it is in most cases a disaster!
