Again we dont need to spend anything this summer. We have Jovic, mayoral, brahim, and bale. The llorente zidane sold, helped Atletico Madrid win the league. Odriozola, people was crying about, played well in his last games. Militao surprised everyone. So we dont need to waste money on haaland, and Mbappe. Let's use the players we have. |

Manuel Pelegrini had Ronaldo, Raul, Robben, Gago and he couldn't give us La decima... Jose Mourinho had Kaka, Alonso, Ronaldo, Benzema and even Bale yet he couldn't give us La decima... Zizuo took over as assistant coach while Ancelotti became head coach...and boom ! La decima  Rafael Benitez had the same powerful team and yet he couldn't do jackshit. He was even going to take us to the fvcking abyss the same way his managerial career was heading ! And then finally, Zizuo took over completely and then...the rest is history !!! He left and came back again to give us a trophy... And this season, with NO signing and even selling off of major players...yet with over 60 injuries of key players and yet he gave us a fighting chance. We finished proud ! Don’t anyone be deceived by mindless critics. Zidane put together what is in my estimation one of the great Real Madrid campaigns, given what he had to both deal with and work with. He is without doubt, the best manager for Real Madrid since Del Bosque and also without doubt, the best manager that can take Real Madrid forward. I hope he really decides to continue. Just for some comparable perspective, Jürgen Klopp is a highly lauded contemporary. Yet when Klopp lost Van Dijk – a player of comparable impact and influence to Ramos – Liverpools’s campaign effectively lost wind and ended. Zidane lost Ramos among a litany of injuries that totalled around 70 yet Real Madrid’s campaign was live in the Champions League semi-final second leg and the final match-day of the La Liga season. Any knucklehead who operates under the delusion that any manager could just come in and make the team better would do well to consider that Del Bosque was 18 years and 15 coaches ago. Of those 15, only 5 had meaningful success but none more than Zidane. That’s 10 failed coaches, which clearly illustrates that a new coach is twice more likely to fail than succeed. The idea that Real Madrid could lose its best manager out of 15 in 18 years and immediately replace him with a better one, is absurdly improbable. A juvenile dream that is a possibility only in the sense that anything is possible, including Beyoncé leaving Jay-Z for yours truly. 4 Likes |
