I need your advice on the above topic based on your experience as regards to maintenance and repairs,fuel economy,and durability. Your urgent response will be appreciated.

i think strongly that the car is rugged, the fuel economy is superb, I have some people using it on this our bad road here and I always see them going up and down with the car. It doesn't have hand and leg problem like some other cars

Ok. what is your experience?

I used a 1996 c220, car was stable and powerful at high speed,handling good but never like a BMW. Car was slow from the start(W202 trademark). Note the W202 cars at some point would need a complete wire overhaul, get a gud electrician to inspect the car when u'r buying. With gud maintenance regular servicing i think u'l be ok. I usually had problem with the balance shaft in the engine(RPM droppin too low when gear is engaged,i dont know whether it's a regular issue wit W202 or mine just had dat devil). Car is good on fuel,reliable. Thats the '96 c220.
1997/98 C230 share same issues with the C220 with a little increase in torque for the former. Overall assessment,car is reliable, low end torque relatively poor,fast, stable like a tank at high speed...
