Knowing the calibre of professionals that abound on this forum,hope to get a quick solution to my problem.

We moved into a 2bedroom flat in Okota on 22nd Feb 2011 after our wedding(19th feb 2011). We actually paid N280,000 + 56,000(agreement) = N336,000 to the landlady's First bank acct,then 50,000 to the agent,total of N386,000.
The house had 2 feral dogs(alsatian)that were never chained,i was heavily pregnant then,i was attacked one day by one of the dogs and i almost fell into a coma,the landlady just said, with lack of interest,that they'd get used to us with time.
We dare not step out before 8am(as in broad day light) and you dare not stay out till 8pm.
Also the septic tank was full and each time they flushed their waste upstairs,it comes to our bathroom,
summary of the story,we moved out on 1st of April 2011,having spent 1month & few days from our 1 year rent.
Ever since,we've been pleading with our landlady to make a refund,but she says until a new tenant pays,we've been hopeful for over a year.

Now we feel so cheated and helpless cos we cant fight her to refund our hard earned money even if its quarter,half or a fraction.

Any lawyer in the house willing to take up our case?
