A hacker or group of hackers has hacked into twitter's database and exposed a huge amount of twitter account usernames and passwords. The passwords were posted on Pastbin.

An unknown hacker hacked and posted 55000 twitter username and passwords(complete with emails) on Pastebin. Several celebrity accounts were also affected. But majority of these accounts are either spam bots or inactive accounts with crazy names and seriously convulated passwords. The hack was revealed by Airdemon.

According to Twitter, they are actively looking into this and are actively taking steps to remedy this. They have also sent password reset requests to the emails attached to those hacked twitter accounts.

Step 3: Downloads TwitterBruteforcer.py to check the stolen userdetails against twitter.com
Step 4: Exports Successful Logins to a .txt file
Step 5: Copy Successful Logins & Pastes on pastebin.com
Step 6: Sends mail to Security Blogs with claims to have compromised twitter.com user details
