EXAMPLE: CAN YOU SOLVE THIS:
PHYSICS:
An object of mass 60g and density 10g/cm3 is suspended by thread and lowered until half of its volume is immersed in a liquid of density of 0.80g.cm3. What is the tension in the thread?

CHEMISTRY:
A hydrocarbon P on combustion gives 0.604g of CO2 and 0.216g of H2O. The mass of a molecule of P is 56g. Determine the molecular formula of P (O = 16, C = 12, H = 1).

A rocket is fired from the surface of the earth..At what velocity must it be fired to escape from gravitational pull...Take the radius of the eart to be 6370km and g=9.8m/s^2.

V = (ROOT 2GR) . 6370km = 1769m . Root 2 * 9.8 * 1769. V =186.21m/s.
