oh wow. Each time I drive past that axis i wonder as to what the plan is for the building. Humongous building i must say. On a serious note, i wonder what traffic would be like on the island in 5 - 10 years time. During peak times Ozumba Mbadiwe is at a stand still. Everytime im stuck in traffic i just having this feeling that the link bridge is a bad idea. On that same road, there's the civic centre, Radisson BLU, the Oriental Hotel . . . . . . and more buildings are cropping up. |

Thats the product of Corruption, built from Oceanic bank money by Mrs Ibru and confiscated by the Federal Government. Construction stopped over a year ago! 1 Like |

@op, that building was meant to house Oceanic bank's new corporate office. It now belongs to AMCON and may be either sold...or demolished. A befitting legacy to Cecilia Ibru and her children's unimaginable kleptomaniac tendencies. 1 Like |

All these corrupt ba.s.t.a.r.ds with ill-gotten wealth (both private sector and government) just piss me off each passing day with their senseless vanity ego-tripping projects. How many "5 Star" hotels do we need along that Ozumba Mbadiwe axis? As if the Oriental Hotel, Radisson Blu, Four Points, etc. are not annoying enough. They should channel their illicit funds into more productive ventures rather than keep building useless, overpriced hotels and 'luxury' apartments that nobody needs. This country needs a revolution, seriously. 4 Likes |
