Our client offer’s complete services in all aspects of water supply infrastructure to various organization in both the public and private sector in the economy & they require the services of a Geologist.
QUALIFICATION: A good degree in Geological Sciences

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
They will include but not limited to the following:
• Supervise all geological operations and activities while drilling operations are underway. Provide daily feedback from well site drilling staff to Office.
• Ensure drilling operations team has latest geological information (i.e., formation tops) to ensure geological and well design objectives are met.
• Take accountability and responsibility for tendering or sourcing key geologic services for exploration projects. Make recommendations for key services.
• Review new and acquired log, core and other geological data and information to provide the drilling team with an accurate analysis for designing water well.
• Identification of drilling hazards from geological data should be included in the geological prognosis.
• Prepare presentation materials of results and well information to management and other interested parties. Presentation materials will include end of well reviews.

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant experience.
• Experience in working with a mud rotary drilling rig and Percussion Rig is essential.
• Previous experience as a water drilling geologist is essential.
• A thorough knowledge of geological concepts and science is required.
• Additionally, experience in mud logging in a well site supervision capacity would be an advantage.
• A basic understanding of geophysical investigations including VES and EM and Logging procedures is Compulsory.
• Age; between 28-38 years
