Briefing journalists after the council meeting, the state

Contractor-financing Agreement, such that the contractor
would be mobilised with 15 per cent and 10 per cent would

while the remaining 75 per cent balance would be spread
over 30 months after the completion of the project without
variation or fluctuation.
On the proposed regional market in the state capital,
tagged O-Hub, the commissioner said that a sum of N225
million had been approved to be spent as compensation for
those whose properties were affected on the site at
Dagbolu.
He maintained that the proposed developers of the market
from Qatar also came to the state last week and indicated
their interest in expanding the scope of the project to
include beef abattoir, as well as improving the capacity of
the rail line, with a view to ensuring that large
consignment of goods could be ferried to stations in
Dagbolu and Osogbo.
On agriculture, Akere disclosed that 19 out of the 30
creeps, which are on site consist of storage facilities for
farmers, for which money has been released had been
completed, while the construction of seven mini-

while the construction of the Oyan 1,000 metric tonne
capacity warehouse is ongoing.
According to him, the intention of the government is to

allocating them to farmers to guarantee bumper harvest,
out of which 1,400 hectares had been cleared so far, saying
that planting has started on the farm.

to the demise of the late Olowu, Oba Shitu Bamigbade on
December 28, 2011.
He noted that there are four ruling houses in the town,
namely Adeyi, Lanloye, Delumo and Tegbo/Aje ruling
houses, saying that it is now the turn of Tegbo/Aje ruling
houses, from where five candidates contested, out of which
