I have taken time to look at political events in Nigeria and have somehow deduced that most leading political critics do so when they (politician) or who they support (kinsmen) or who they would have benefited from in kind or appointment (political and other related jobbers) lose political or economic power or are left out of corridors of power.

A South Westerner will prefer Aganga as economic minister and will stick out his head to support him assuming he is from his political party and South Westerners remained silent critics when Obasanjo regime hiked fuel prices three times during his tenure though the South Westners never voted for him but covered for him against more prefered Buhari.

An Eastner will prefer NOI as economic and financial minister and will stick out his head to support her irrespective of the decision she make be it good or bad

A core Northern will support El-rufia even if he turn half of the land in Abuja to his family or still fight to see a dead Yar'dar in Cascade remains president until his tern is over.

Ijaw man will fight or manipulate election figures for Jonathan's second term even if he want a free and fair election

Afanefere will condenm the House of representative for not electing their own as speaker

Sectionalism is what is killing Nigeria more than our bad leaders, what do you think?

For me, the greatest enemy Nigeria ever had was the man who destroyed true federalism and the who law-makers that are against this noble vision.

Very good observation. Nigeria is really a battered country, politicians have really used ethnicity to divide and batter us out of commission. It is amazing how easy nigerians are to fool and lure by crooks who recycle and rebrand themselves.

Errrmmmmm I am sorry sir but that is a very poor job you did up there.

1. SW castigated OBJ during price increment of fuel. In fact the first major protest started in Lagos as usual. Please sir SW people are not biased and get your facts right.

2. Not all SE people would blindly support NOI. Not everyone is biased again.

3. Not every northener would like El-rufia

@OP:
Good observation. Its sad those who have found themselves in leadership position not only care about themselves but spend state resources on dividing the nation along any line they can in order to keep looting us dry.

Our founding fathers will be crying in their graves - if they see how the present greedy few are pulling down a nation some of them laid down their lives to build.

So sad the current occupants are not helping the situation either.

Nice observation @op, these are the problems of nigerians and they tend to pretend that all is well, but within them they knw the truth, although not evrybody from these regions as aljharem spotted but the bigger number always dominate and the biger number ie those biased minded ones, and if u, as unbiased one try to talk shitty! ure people will castigate u! Think of dokpesi ait owner, wen he supported IBB" so evrybody in nigeria always support there kinsmen no matter hw bad d person is!
