Hello Nl. There's this controversy that has been going on in a marriage seminar organised in a church. Along the line the issue of whose name should comes first in wedding invitation came up. And the lecturer said it should be the groom's name. Instead of the bride's name first that is conversant with most wedding invitations i've seen or came across. He stated further that we copied the bride's name's first from the europeans that in europe the bride weds the groom and the bride has more power than the groom according to law. But here the groom weds the bride and he's the head and carries much of the responsibility of the marriage. So therefore his name should comes first and not last. How truth is this. |
