With the recent break up of Mo Hits a lot of people were questioning what would become of both Don Jazzy and D'banj. Every move made now would be under the scrutiny of the media and fans and any flops you can bet will be magnified even more than ever. Truth be told they are both talented men and we know its magic that happened whenever we had both in studio. What has been pondered for a while now is, can Don Jazzy make hit songs with his crew? Will D'banj be able to deliver the same magic with another producer?

Don Jazzy has some things working for him.....for one he's not the artist, he's a producer. So all he needs is someone who can at least not ruin his beats. And with his guidance, well....he could make it happen. The new MAVIN records album titled "Solar Plexsus" shows us just what we can anticipate. All you need to do is listen to "Amarachi" to get the gist of just how much Don Jazzy is not missing D'banj. Yes its D'Prince (his brother) delivering a D'banj-like performance that no one thought was possible. He did such a good job one might think its actually D'banj. So again i ask....does Don Jazzy really miss D'banj? No I don't think so. I think even though D'Prince's talent has been questioned in the past, with Don Jazzy driving, he's willing to elevate his performance.

We will have to see what D'banj and Kanye West can cook up in the kitchen to evaluate how well things go for him. For now though we can pretty much make the assumption that while one hasn't missed a step, the other has lost a foot.
