Please I need confirmation, I was just held by Police Mobile Court in Port Harcourt for having factory fitted Tinted Glasses in my rear windows on my car (Nissan Frontier). They are claiming that there is a total ban on all tinted glasses on vehicles including factory fitted. can anyone confirm this please.

There is nothings as a complete ban.

I recently check the directive issued by the former IG and it states that factory fitted tints are exempted from the rule. The former idea of fixing a tint nylon and obtaining a permit is the only thing that has been abolished.

Dont allow those senseless people to intimidate you. I live in PH too and i understand how senseless these so called mobile courts can be.
