A java code dat will search thru my system either for a folder,file or anytin I want it to search and display the possible result in an HTML format

Please specify the file format you intend reading because i know you dont intend reading a .zip, .rar or .exe file

Sorry i have not been able to reply this thread...i'm assmunig you are converting a .txt file to a .html file...
1. Create a new File object;
File file = new File("yourFile.txt'').;
String _newFileName = file.getName() ;
(you can use the string builder class to remove the .txt from the _newFileName and create a new string)
2.After that create a new file object.
File file2 = new File(_newFileName+".htm'').;
The html will be in your Project Directory or in your c:\\...if you dont have a Project Folder...Although i may be wrong but i hope this helps...
