The National Stadium in Lagos is well known to all the visitors, guests and residents of the first mega city in West Africa.

The stadium was built for sports and the main bowl was exclusively meant for soccer matches and track and field events. But since the Nigerian government fled to Abuja, the stadium has been left in the hands of "lunatics" in office and the No Future Ambition (NFA) lunatic fringe elements flocking to the place to vandalize the facilities and the thousands who pretend to love God more than their next door neighbour.

Most of the largest Christian churches in Lagos have decided to hold their crusades there and you would be fooled to think their coming there was a blessing to the stadium, but rather it has turned into a charade of true Christianity.

Normal humans with common sense would have known that you need to provide clean toilets and environment at the venue of an event, but our so called highly anointed larger than life Chrisitian crusaders prefer to invite thousands of their devotees and miracle-seekers to the National Stadium without any effort to clean the toilets and environment.

You dare not be pressed to use the toilet!
The toilets are out of bounds, except you are related to the toilet rats or you have a death wish.

If you really want to know the true nature of Nigerians, please visit the toilets in the National Stadium or the toilets on the campuses of the colleges and universities in Nigeria.
I have never seen worse nightmares in my life.

IT IS EVIL AND WICKED TO INVITE IGNORANT AND INNOCENT PEOPLE TO YOUR CHRISTIAN CRUSADES AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM WITHOUT SANITATION.

IF THE G.O AND PASTORS CANNOT USE THE TOILETS AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM, THEN PLEASE DO NOT INVITE ANYONE TO YOUR CRUSADE AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM.

WOULD JESUS CHRIST LIKE TO USE THE TOILET AS YOU HAVE LEFT IT?

Who is fooling whom?

You sound to be so bitter about crusades being held in the stadium. Anyway i agree with you that the place was originally meant for recreational purposes and sporting activities. I would not like to address you as someone with a good knowledge of the bible. As citizens of this great nation we are entitled to use any facility meant for the people as long as an agreement is reached with the officials of the facility. Furthermore, huge sum of money is paid before we can be allowed to use the facility, it has never been given free, in another words we generate revenue for the government. Note also that you addressed the wrong issue here: instead of correcting the dirty habit of Nigerians, you were only good at putting the blame on the Churches. Have you visited some parts of Lagos to see where and what they call Loos? bridges, rivers etc. No matter how many times you clean them toilets they keep misusing them. Finally, we know who we are, we can take anything we want at any time cos we have the biggest back up you can think of: Papa God! cool Anyway we have decided to grow bigger than stadia cos we found out they are too small for us now. We now purchase vast mass of land hundred times bigger than stadium

Simply make them pay for clean-up after their carnival. It's standard practice in event hosting, Naija factor permitting.

There is nothing wrong in making sure the toilets are clean before we invite people to crusades.

If they have to use the toilet, what happens?
Mess up the environment.

Christians should lead by example.

We should practice what we preach.

Are the churches in charge of maintenance of facilities at the Stadium?

Isn't someone in charge of managing the stadium facilities, and isn't it the responsibility of this body to ensure that the restrooms are functioning and adequate?

Let me give a correlation: if you were to have a wedding at the Muson center, would you be personally responsible to ensure the toilets are clean or would that be the duty of the managers of the facility?

I am not saying the churches should shirk all responsibility, but for crying out loud, the poor maintenance of the facility by the owners is NOT the fault of any church who uses the facilities. The most you can say is that they should not organise events there because there are insufficient provisions for sanitary use.

They should be better organised and supplement the facilities provided by the stadium, OR insist that whatever fees are paid covers this provision by the facility managers.

There's nothing I won't hear on nairaland.
Should the Christians also dig borehole for the stadium?

why not hire people to clean up after they're done, or some of these holy holy sisters- looking to be recommended to ''brothers'' -take it upon themselves to clean up?

clean up what and where?
isn't it the job of the Lagos state government or whoever to take care of it's facilities.
They are talking about non functional toilets.
They pay for the grounds, why should they repair and fetch water for the non functional toilets.
