Chai. Admin blocked me from responding to posts here. It was such a painful experience o to be restricted just cos I posted the consulate email for booking of legalization appointment.

Well could to be back. I will respond to queries the much I know soon. On my way to hike at the Madalla hills Abuja. Will respond from there.

Hello Dedibuu, I had this challenge and I contacted the embassy to ask cos all their official translators I contacted were all booked through out July. However, the embassy replied stating that I could use any translator of my choice as long as the vital information's are not omitted. So I think this answers your question.

How do one book appointment for legalisation?

Sorry to reply this late. I replied earlier but Nairaland Admins blocked me off cos I provided the consulate's email address for queries about legalization. However to book an appointment with the consulate for legalization, kindly send them a mail requesting for an appointment. I can't post the mail again make them no ban me las las. Cheers

Please any help on how I book appointment for legalization... I sent a mail to them through the email I found on their official website but the response was what I don't really understand... I'll appreciate good replies thanks...

There is an email they dedicated for legalization matters. Use it to mail them. You should get an appointment in form of a reply in 3 days. Meanwhile, all these info has been posted recently before. Check check and check... Cheers.

Hello everyone, please I want to know if it is after you have gotten admission before you start legalization and pre-enrolment ?

A very big YES. However, since you want to study in Europe, I will advise you take proactive steps by first authenticating your documents at the Ministries of Education and then Foreign Affairs. That way, once your admission is out, you will then be left to battle with TRANSLATION of your documents before you book your appointment for LEGALIZATION .

Hope this helps? Cheers.

I don't really have an answer to this tjouhj. However, last year my friend shown his dad's account balance of 1.5M naira and he got his visa approved. Also on this platform, someone said he provided a bank statement of 8M or so but was still denied.

I may not know categorically what the embassies check out for sha, however, I will advise you have money enough to show u can carter for your fees, living expenses including feeding, flight and so on AT LEAST for the first one year.. I stand to be corrected anyway..

Hope this helps? Good luck

Hello Everyone,
So im researching grants and scholarships that foreign students can benefit from, such as the
Borso di studio
Laziodisu
MAECI
some of this grants are for specific schools. You can google them and see what comes up.

I understand that other grants such as accommodation busary etc can be gotten over there in Italy IF you have the ISEE Parificato
Please if you have any info about this (especially those who are currently in school in Italy) pls kindly share

I am currently looking into getting the documentation for reciveing the ISEE Parificato in Italy, Kindly see the attached.
https://www.studenti.unige.it/tasse/iseeuparificato/en/
it states that some documentation needs to be shown over there in Italy
-Personal data
-foreign incomes (regarding the year 2015)
-foreign properties and financial assets (regarding the year 2016)
-The documentation must be:
-Issued by the competent offices in the country in which the incomes have been produced;
translated into Italian by the competent Italian Diplomatic or International students

1. how can these documents be gotten here in Nigeria? someone said Income returns from the Tax office, some other person said from Commissioner of oaths' who did the income declaration, family unit, etc

Does anyone know the procedure or has anyone done this in the past for getting the documents for ISEE certification in NIGERIA?
someone should please respond to this question

What you will do is Evaluation of your academic qualifications at the Ministry of Education and that of Foreign Affairs as against Authentication.

Authentication is for degrees gotten in Nigeria while Evaluation is for degrees gotten abroad.

Hope this helps?

Cheers.

Why not email your documents to the translator in Abuja and have it waybill it back to you when he is done? Last time I contacted Lagos, they told me that they were booked all through July. I had to travel all the way to Abuja to authenticate my documents and then see a translator same time.

This was late May 2019. However, the translator in Abuja(who once worked with the Italian Consulate for 16 years before retiring) is gradually becoming occupied with work. As at then, he said my documents will be ready for pick up mid June. He works in a first pay first served basis and not first come first served as he showed me a lot of documents he pushed aside before queuing mine up cos the owners never paid or committed him to show seriousness.

His name is Mr. Oluga.

Cheers

Please sir, this authentication you guys talk about, is it the original certificate you authenticate at the MOE MOFA or it's the photocopies of the original??

I'll also like to enquire if I'll have to go to MOE and MOFA to attach a seal on my original certificates since I intend to proceed abroad for studies soon?

Guys, the embassy said it is not mandatory to translate your documents to Italia. Is there any other reason why people are translating?
