Good morning guys,
Please I heard we must bring all the receipts of payment from MOFA when going for legalization at the embassy?
Someone said its 3 in number, please anyone with the idea of which receipts these are?
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Ujules: 9:16am On Jul 30
I don’t know o, but I think its the Remita receipt for payment and also MOE gives its own seperate receipt asides Remita. Just carry all receipts of payment you have and give them anyone they request. Maybe MOFA Remita, MOE Remita, and MOE receipt.
Mine is more than 3 because I’ve done authentication 3 different times now.

Good day house , pls I would like to know the criteria and the eligibility for someone to be a sponsor? Secondly can someone use his uncle as sponsor(bearing the same surname )? If yes what would you refer your uncle to be , your father or older brother ? Pls help I need views on this from great people here
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Ufemia26: 10:20pm On Jul 30
Please use your dad or Mom if you actually wanna get visa this year o. You can do self sponsor which is even more better.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by oppsonn: 8:20am On Jul 31
I believe you can use Dad or Mom if you are a fresh graduate or have few years of job experience but if you are older than 30 or so then I will advise you on self sponsor.

Please what are the required document to get if you want to use yourself as sponsor? Consider the fact that you’re a student and no work experience how are you going to do it then ? Please I need advice house
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Sammynelson: 9:41pm On Jul 31
Does that mean I can use my uncle that we beat the same name and claim him to be my father ??
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by oppsonn: 10:20pm On Jul 31
You can but will advise u to Use your Parents instead. You have to prove to the consulate that you are financial stable and won't be burden to the Italian Government.. .So Using your uncle's account might not be right because He might decided not to help u out in future because he also have his own family to take care of.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Ufemia26: 2:54am On Aug 01
Tell your uncle to transfer funds into your account and provide an affidavit of sponsorship stating that he is willing to sponsor you and would be sending you some cash on monthly basis

Have some funds in your account, an amount of 1m would be okay and apply with it plus your certificate of scholarship or scholarship letter

Hello, good morning. please I have some questions I would like to ask.
Last year, I have legalized my documents at the embassy, but I couldn’t proceed with submission for visa application.
This year, I have done preenrolment on universitaly website and my documents have been legalized since last year.
I would like to know if it’s advisadble for me to proceed to submit for visa application at VFS.

Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by manlithe: 11:13pm On Aug 02
I am not sure of the problem. You can use a computer or try with a different browser.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by Oshiomah007: 10:37am On Aug 03
NO u don't need to show any bank statement. Letters from d school for the scholarship award and other grants stating the amount u will get every month is enough.

I neccki, kindly check your mail.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by decode: 8:28am On Aug 05
They will reply you, most likely that appointments are suspended. Study visa issues are not considered important right now. I'll advise prospective students to activate plan B. No need to talk too much.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by oppsonn: 11:34am On Aug 05
They will surely reply whenever they feel they are okay with the pandemic. They is no country that will suspend or won't see the important of Foreign student because they know the positive effect it will have with there economy.
As for the legalization, will ask you to send a mail to your school and ask them if they are other means you can go about with the legalization stuff and also confirm from embassy if they are okay with the means.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by oppsonn: 2:13pm On Aug 05
Study applications cannot be accepted for the time being.
This year, the pre-enrolment for Italian Universities will be done online and the deadline to issue visas is 30th November 2020.
Furthermore, it is almost certain that the first semester will be done online only. Last, but not least, the Nigerian airspace is closed for international and intercontinental flights, and the entrance of the Schengen Space is not
Above message was from the Italian Embassy
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by decode: 7:41pm On Aug 05
oppsonn:Don't get confused. They will definitely allow foreign students from Schengen areas. But students from outside EU/Schengen should make alternative arrangements just in case the situation did not improve.
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by oppsonn: 9:32pm On Aug 05
Ok..I do understand now.
We all need to have Plan B.
