Our school has a policy of 3 times a week, no sugary drinks or snacks, only fruit and water. And there are water dispensers around the classrooms. Which makes it so easy for children to avoid eating sugar. And it forced most parents to stop giving their kids sigary snacks. I have never bought: Biscuits, Ribena, Caprisun, etc for school (however Daddy is badly behaved, so I'm currently hiding a bag of lollipops he bought in my pant bag grin

).

I recall someone's school where the teachers were the one egging her on to give her child Chivita juice (neat, no dilution with water!) and now her oldest needs teeth filling already. So when you're doing your school research, ask "what is your food policy?". If they offer school lunches, don't jump into it yet. Start school and monitor and see if your child wants to eat with his friends whom are eating school lunch. So you don't end up paying for food that never gets eaten.

We rotate: rice, beans, yam pottage, spaghetti with vegetables, sweet potatoes and egg sauce to school. Snack is usually carrots or fruits. No juice. One of these days, I'll try a sandwich but her school likes food kids can eat with a cutlery (helps them with Dexterity).

When it comes to food, please don't over think it. My first, I did all the doables and read up the readables and bought and bought stuff that ended up being thrown away. Then I spoke to my friend (who's Indian) and her laughter cleared my head (we will be doing one on Nutrition on the blog because of her). She gives common sense advice about a lot of stuff.

1. Good evening mamas please what I can I use to treat this boil like rash on my son's head and neck (pix attached). We have used sudocream and different ointment yet it keeps coming back when it goes.

2. My children are 16 weeks I want to start them on pap can I add crayfish to the Pap and formulae combo? What are the thing I should add?

3. Someone gave us some jar foods containing beef and beef broth (pix attached) can we eat it like that or we add we something.

Please I know food has been discussed severally on the thread make una just help me pls.

hmmmm.
I used to have asthma.
I used it and didn't have any of the symptoms listed or so I thought.

But some 4months after using I started having strange skin issues.
A woman I met said I should stop peanut that I was allergic to it and all its products even oil.

I doubt that was fenugrek.
