I missed my son's third immunisation because the date wasn't properly written. Please does this have any negative effect on my 3months old?
You can still go now and give him date or no date.

I will say keep trying. Don't give up. Even after he throws up, give him again. Nov is still far a bit. He will get use to it over time. Try nan. Most babies I know use nan.
Thank you so much. Would try it out. I pray he takes it.

The hardness I think is normal. The incision site will still be numb for a while. For the pus, are you still taking your antibiotics? You can switch to zinnat and take for 7 days. It's the best. I don't encourage gambling with antibiotics most of the generic isn't as effective as gsk brand.
Immediately after having a bath pat dry the incision site properly and paint with genital violet in spirit (G.V in spirit). Alternatively you can cover the incision site with plastic bag or waterproof plaster to have a bath.
Mostly importantly don't bend or put any form of strain on the site.
Quick recovery

Thank you so much ma'am
I completed the antibiotics they gave me on delivery ( flaggyl and Augumentine)
Im at the clinic now and I've been given zinnat and sent for endocervical and urine MCS
Pls can i get the G.V in spirit to buy in any pharmacy?

Is it usually noisy?
My ds used to be startled from sleep when he was much younger cause of noise
So I try to be as quiet as possible when he sleeps
And again he started sleeping longer and stopped getting startled when he gained head control and started sleeping on his stomach

ATP GUIDE

TEETHING POWDERS

Teething Powders and teething mixtures are the MOST HIGHLY UNNECESSARY and at times HIGHLY DANGEROUS drugs/substances Mums use for their babies.

Some mums even start giving their babies from Day 1 for what??!!!

Teething is a normal physiological process or milestones like the child growing bigger, sitting, crawling, walking and saying the first words!!!

How come there is no WALKING POWDER or SPEAKING MIXTURES!!!

SAY NO To TEETHING POWDER, TEETHING MIXTURES aka Piccan, Babyrex, GBOMORO, BONABEBE and such likes.

They are not only unnecessary but can be very dangerous. Remember what happened with "My Pikin" teething mixtures saga? If you don't know, Google it!

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE!!!
THANK YOU!!!

It's not noisy here, I noticed he doesn't when he's in his cot or our bed so he doesn't sleep for long. he sleeps longer when backed, when I carry him and when I place him on my chest

Nothing is wrong with him in my opinion. My son did same and i was told it's because he wasn't thrown up during bath time undecided that my mum should have thrown him up or held him upside down shocked for few minutes to remove fear from him. He stopped sha as he grew older. Even whilst awake he would just jump at the slightest noise. Lolz

He'll probably enjoy sleeping on his tummy more, you can try that when he's old enough
Until then, there's nothing to worry about, he'll outgrow it

Is water touching the site? Water is not supposed to touch it. Are you still cleaning with spirit? If not start doing that every 15mins continuosly for about three days and if there is no improvement please see your doctor. How many days post op are you? If not upto 6week then you should still be going for check up regularly.

Good thing you went to the clinic. How did the test go?
I think you should get the G.V in any pharmacy. Am aware of 2 types: GV paint and in spirit. Just tell them you want the one in spirit and not paint.

Plz mamas in the house, how do I wean my baby? She's ten months old and I recently found out am preggy again. She sucks on demand and wakes every hour or so at night to suck. But during the day she eats solids well. I don't know whether to stop immediately or gradually. I heard one can use bitterleaf on breast but don't know how safe it is. Plz don't pass me by. Thank you in advance.

I'm quite sure nothing is wrong with him.
Just check to be sure he's sleeping comfortably and no mosquito is disturbing him smiley
When my ds was much younger and behaved in a similar manner, I whisper a word of prayer into his ears. This also helped me erase any kind of fear that may want to creep into my heart.
Remain courageous..God guide you and protect your dear son.

Big hugs mama

As I read through your reality...it confirms that many are the plans of the heart but the answer of the tongue belongs to God. Indeed His ways are higher than our ways.

Commit your fears and worries to God, He knows the best way to get you sorted and still enjoy the career of your dreams.

You will make it..

So lets toast to a healthy and happy bumping..
Cheers second time mummy smiley
