PORT HARCOURT – POLICE in Rivers State have smashed a syndicate, that specialised in selling new babies. Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Ben Ugwuegbulam, who confirmed the development to Vanguard, said the Police arrested a husband and his wife involved in the illicit trade.

He said the two specialised in kidnapping girls and arranging for them to get pregnant, while they would hide the pregnant girls in their custody until they delivered.

Ugwuegbulam said the suspects confessed that as soon as the girls deliver, they would sell the babies. He said: “Rivers State Police Command had arrested one Chigozie John and his wife, Akwarama and rescued three pregnant women held as captives in the suspects place or residence somewhere in Akpajo.

“On interrogation, the husband and wife confessed to the offence of trafficking in new babies and further admitted that the three pregnant women found in their house were procured to deliver babies that would be sold as soon as they were delivered of their babies.”

He added that investigation was on to unravel details of the operation of the suspects.

These evil deeds are not peculiar to any tribe in Nigeria or any country. Humans are generally wicked, only a few are good. From a Christian perspective i say these are end time signs.

Well it does happen but this aligation of kidnap is what i disagree. This girls intentionally got pregnant before heading to the trade center, reach people do go there for illegal adorption that is just it.These days you see children that has nothing in resemblance with the parents, some of these children are from there! The wealthy infertile do book with them on time then when the real baby mother is about to deliver, the rich man wife will go to that hospital for an injection which will make her posses the feature of a pregnant woman which will make people around have the impression that she is pregnant while expecting the baby from the baby real mother at the adorption home! When the real baby mother delivers, they will then hand the baby over to the purchaser while receiving the bagain cash. The subject of the matter is that this is colaborated business among them all which kidnap has nothing in it.Brothers & sister, that is what we see in our world today, this is an illegal adorption. They are also situated around you but you may not know!Assignment for you, just watch around your area & you may also sort out some of these children.

na wa for this country.surrogacy is established means of reproduction in many countries.young men(healthy, drug free) are encouraged to donate their sperm to a sperm bank for a fee or free.young healthy women donate eggs for a fee.these are frozen and used to help those who desire to have kids but cannot for some fertility related reason, but ourself deceit is so much that even when these clinics are available the level of patronage is very low, couples prefer to receive their 'miracle' from God.In india, surrogacy services cost as much as $25k(N3.5m-N4m),it should be less in Nigeria where volunteer mothers will be contented with far less.in all fairness nigeria is not the only place this kind has happened, many illegal indian surrogacy runs have been raided by police in america in the past,i also remember reading about the stealing of kidneys in india as far back as early 80s(yes,somebody jumps on an innocent passer-by with a cloth deeped in chloroform,by the time the person regains consciousness he sees that one side of his lower back has been stitched, otokoto did it for years but did not release their victims but killed them to make it look like the work of ritualist)na wetin we like be that.....coat everything with juju or demonic runs....instead of following the money
