I love them. its full of everything. intrigues, love, suspense,betrayal. they are well organised and very original. i kinda prefer the olden Joseon days ones though.

finished watching Prince Jamyung . .now am watching Man of honor.

Korean movies are well budgeted quite alright, but it's kind of fake since they try to make the hero to be too holy as much as possible; the directors always try to justify it even when the hero is known in history to be a tyrant.

Also, another thing I hate about Korea movies is too much Hollywood influence. For instance, those stupid love scenarios between a hero and a beautiful girl always throw me off: How can a hero achieve those things by being Romeo; men like that get any women they desire by force. In fact, theirs' surpass Hollywood in fakeness. Except the history aspect of it, especially those related to old Joseon dynasty and early three kingdom, I wouldn't be watching them.

I'll prefer Chinese historical movies if they should spent money on production of historical films relating to Han dynasty and Tang dynasty. I like The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is basically a nice budgeted drama that detailed the collapse of the Han dynasty leading to the three kingdoms and finally the unification of the three kingdom under Jin dynasty.

I watched IRIS, omg! They really did great in d movie wit a quite expensive budget, but saying they are better than the almighty Hollywood?Hell no!
