I thought it was only me until I went to their office to see many people with similar problem. Last week they cut N3,000 from my phone within two days. I will just see "your last call is N800", and i did not make any call. Is anyone else witnessing it?
Why cant NCC set a standard and penalties for defaulters

Whether you call or you use line for pay-as-you-go internet browsing, Airtel will always tell you that, your last call is so so so. Maybe you browsed with your sim without data plans.

if u r on a data plan with d data exhausted . . .deactivate d plan or prevent ur fone from using d mobile network (if its a smartfone;u can do dis by creating a new apn dat is not valid n use it as ur default apn or send DEACTIVATE to 440.

this happens cos wen d data is exhausted the plan shifts to 5Kobo/Kb or thereabout.

cheers

Thanks guys, I finally got Airtel and they say its because I'm using a BB. So whether I am deactivated or not the bla bla bla. So they showed me how to remove the data service.
