My own Biblical definition of God can be found in Deuteronomy 32: 39 - 42
" See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I KILL, and I make ALIVE; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgement; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy."

The truth is, GOD IS A KILLER.

Hebrew 12:31 " It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God"

my own definition is a little stronger than yours

GOD IS A MERCILESS GENOCIDAL MASS MURDERER OF ALL TIME

"And the Lord said unto him,... And to the others he said in mine hearing,

Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither

have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children,

and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin

at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the

house." (Ezekiel 9:4-6)

"This is what the LORD says: Now go and smite Amalek, and

utterly destroy all that they have; do not spare them, but kill both

man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass ....'

And Saul ... utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword."

(1 Samuel 15:3,7-8 )

"And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn

in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his

throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and

all the firstborn of cattle." (Exodus 12:29)

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

wake up, friend. it is humans like us who created the concepts of god (Allah and Yahweh) in their minds in their own image after their own likeness.

My God na, OMINI-KEMU-KEMU.
My biblical definition of God, could be found in Ephasians 3:20 (which reads, " Now unto him, that is able to do, exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us"wink. From the above scripture, it is intuitively obvious and exceedingly true that, our God, who created the HEAVEN and the EARTH, then went ahead to make MAN, after His own IMAGE and LIKENESS, does whatever pleases Him. After-all, that was the essence of creation.

@ God2man:
What-ever a man does in life, is to please himself. So, what is wrong, if your creator (the OTEMU-NO-RUEMU) choose to do, what pleases Him? What's your problem, with that? You rightly quoted Heb.12:31 (It is a fearful thing, to fall into the hands of the living God). Yet are RUNNING YOUR MOUTH, calling God, all sorts of names, before the whole wide world (some of us think, what we write here, is being read or seen by NAIRA-LANDERS, alone. I beg to differ. Whatever you post on NAIRA-LAND, is seen and read all over the world). Now, search your heart. Does it not occur to you, that you 're beginning to fall into the hands, of the living God? My dear brother, go to Him, in prayer, right away and ask Him, for FORGIVENESS. And as you do so, may you be richly BLESSED. Bye for now and remain BLESSED. One love. cool shocked cool

Biblical god is black?. . . (Song of songs 1:5)
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.) I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
GOD'S WORD Translation(©1995) "Young women of Jerusalem, I am dark and lovely like Kedar's tents, like Solomon's curtains."
