@ovap no one here can gurantee visa, both the US embassy in abuja and the consular General in Lagos both issues visa so just go the the closest one to you and collect your visa. There is always a correlation between most courses it just falls under a continuum(degree). So use the internet and research to find along what continuum project management intercepts mech Engr. I'm positive you'll find one. Besides your course doesn't Necessarily have to be much related. A school is an environment for Continuous learning so you could develop different passion in an institution. If you took minors related to project management emphasize on it! @akanbi_edu what's bad in studying aeronautic engineering Cheers! |

Julie55: Hello house, I was denied F1 visa last month. The interview was so short, the VO was typing MOST of the time. He rarely looked at me. I was asked just 4 questions- 1)Why Public Health? Me- I have a passion to serve people, and improve the quality of health for those around me, rising need for public health specialists in Nigeria, etc 2)Who is sponsoring you? Me- My Dad 3)What does he do? Me- An engineer 4)What work do you do? Me- A dentist I answered fully. No documents were asked. After a long period of typing, he just said, Sorry....and that was all. I was denied last year also. Same course, though a different school. So this year, I applied to a less expensive, but equally good school. I have re-applied and will be going soon. A few questions- --Im trying to fill a new DS 160, but there is really nothing to change. I filled to first one as carefully, and truthfully as I could.I do not know how else that form could be filled. --Do I need to snap a fresh passport? I still have copies of the passport I submitted last month. --How about wearing a good sweater this time around. I felt too cold the other time. --The 'remarks' section on my I20 says 'all funding subject to Consular Verification' Abeg apart from bank statements, what other 'verification' would they need? --What else can I do, guys? Hope to hear from you all! u will need to bring proof that u will return after your studies. u will need to question them if ur denied again (i pray u get it this time around), u have right to do that cos its ur money. |

Julie55, I wouldn't worry too much even though I know it must been a lot of stress for you to go through including financially. My advice would be to research 2 top dental schools in 5 western countries. The US is not the only place with quality advanced/research programs - there's Canada, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, etc. I'm not sure about the UK though. There is also some of the islands, Jamaica, Barbados, etc. If it is your wish to study abroad, just keep trying. I'm a sole believer in the proverb, "Where there's a will there's a way" Follow your destiny or change it. You have the power![b]Julie55, I wouldn't worry too much even though I know it must been a lot of stress for you to go through including financially. Hello Guys, Please what do I complete in the section for "Intended Length of Stay in U.S."? My I-20 has the normal length of study is 36months while my program structure says 22months, which one do I go with? Also, I do not have accommodation yet and there is a section for where you will be staying in the US. What do I fill in this section? I appreciate your candid responses. |

afam4eva: You guys should stop opening threads like this. You're encouraging people to run away from Nigeria. Why can't they attend OSU or UNAD? I graduated from UNAD and now in US studying and gain good research experience never given in Nigeria public universities. So you made no point at all. binger: why go to the usa when you have your lovely country with every thing desirable for good living? This is a sign that you being blocked from entering US for life. Why hatred then? |

Thanks, thats what I'm about saying. The most important one that simulate the test environment is .exe file and gmail won't accept mail containing such. @justwise, Please, help out hid some of those ads o. |
