Globacom Nigeria has introduced Glo Ramadan Special Offer (Islamic portal & Daily SMS Alert on Ramadan etiquettes & Hadith) tailored for the Muslim customers on the Glo network.

The Glo Ramadan special offer gives the Muslim faithful the opportunity to either subscribe to get daily SMS on Ramadan etiquettes & Hadiths or Dial 77020 anytime, any day to listen to Quranic recitations, admonitions, Duas, praise songs etc

The Glo Ramadan special offer is an SMS and IVR based Value Added Service. This offer (IVR & SMS) is offered on subscription


IVR Offer:

Glo Islamic Portal is a one-of-its-kind spiritual IVR portal especially made for those who Love to stay connected to the Supreme Being. Apart from listening to Quranic citations, user can listen to Qunuts, Duas, Hadeeth, Adh Kar, Islamic songs and Sermons and feel closer to the Almighty.

Any mobile user on the network can access the service by just dialing the short code –77020 from their Glo Mobile line and follow the instructions.

Or subscribe through SMS by sending keyword SUB<space>ISLAM to 77020. Customers can choose their preferred language (English or Hausa) to listen to the voice instructions.


Charges of Glo Islamic Portal

Customers will be charged N25 per week as subscription fee & can browse the IVR service @ N5 per minute.


SMS Offer:

The Ramadan SMS subscription service offer customers daily SMS on Ramadan etiquettes & Hadiths. Customer can subscribe by sending the keyword ‘SALAM’ (not key sensitive) to 77025 to enjoy daily messages throughout the month of Ramadan.



The SMS Offer is valid only for the Ramadan period while customers will continue to enjoy the IVR offer even after Ramadan. You can download and dedicate any Qunut, Dua, Hadith, Adh Kar or Islamic song of your choice.

How to Unsubscribe

The Daily SMS stops at the end of Ramadhan. To unsubscribe from Glo Islamic Portal you can press 9 anytime while listening and follow the IVR instructions or text the keyword “Unsub (space) Salam” to 77020.
