Tho I don't cut keys or do security systems of cars, but I know you need not call those Honda Place for they'll bleed you. Get another person to do it. It should be way less than 500k.
Enyimbamercedes:
A while back, my key for a 2012 Honda Crosstour was misplaced when the driver left it on the Bonnet of another vehicle which drove off with it.

At the time I couldn’t find the spare so I went to The Honda Place in Abuja for a replacement and they gave a bill of nearly 500k for 2 new key, reprogramming and replacement of key cylinders.

I eventually found a spare key ( a valet key though) so it had no keyless entry and cannot open my glove box but at least the car is drivable but very inconvenient walking up to the door to open it.

So I go back to Honda place and they insist they have to still insist the quotation is the same even though I now have a key which they can cut from.

Please is there anyone who provides key cutting and reprogramming. I went to Gudu and they said the car is not American spec so the conventional method of reprogramming doesn’t work. Thank you

I am shocked they charged you 500k and will not drop their quote even when you have a valet key.

My take is that programing another key or the keyless entry isnt a big deal. The big deal is cutting a master key when you only have a valet key.

You can easily buy a replacement key and fob for less than 2k on Aliexpress or Amazon and have it programmed but to cut a missing master is what I think you need professional help.

My Honda Civic when on D, D3, R or D2 it will not move. Keep revving then pick. After like 2mins it will not move again just keep revving till I turn off the ignation and on. The process will repeat.

The transmission oil is well gauged so I don't know what the issue is. This just started today.

This happened to my Civic in January this year without any prior sign. I got it fixed by a gear specialist in Akure.
It has been working fine since then.

Guys, need advice please. Seriously considering getting an 05-08 Odyssey, Naija used. I intend to do a good physical check & scan, but any specific thing(s) to look out for? This will be my first Honda, is it a good choice? Much appreciate feedbacks...

Yes you could be right. That's what the mechanic said without scan. But I rather would like to scan first.
But how much do you think it could cost?

From the way it fluctuates it might be an issue with a component from within the instrument cluster or a sensor somewhere else.

Take it to a good electrician, cross your finger on needing your cluster removed to repair the issue.

However you look at it You’d definitely need a scan to be sure.

Guys please, Honda Accord 2009 is showing this on the dashboard, what can I do ?

I understand it’s something related to the tire? I don’t want to go to Honda’s place in Lagos yet because of billing.

I read online that it has to do with a malfunction in the TPMS itself and it would give me a tire sign if its wants me to guage the tire.

Monitors tyre pressure.
Either a low tyre pressure or one of the sensors has been yanked off by a vulcaniser.

It's yours car Tire pressure monitoring system light. Gauge all your tire to make sure they are within spec. Check the stickers on your car door for the recommended tire pressure.

Want to service my transmission as the Alhaji confirmed the transmission needs servicing and as well I will have to change the switch that they've been confirmed bad.

Which Oil should I use? How much? Haven't done this before.
