Ghanian Rapper Sarkodie has kicked off his promotional press tour for his IndigoO2 concert taking place on the 11, March 2016.He was met by awaiting Paparrazi, journalists and fans who waited patiently to capture the first images of the artist as he appeared through BA departures at Heathrow Airport 6am Wednesday morning in an all black classic slick jacket and jeans with his trademark dark shades like a true super star. Sparing only 10 minutes to shake hands with the press and taking a few pictures, Sarkodie was quickly whisked off by his manager to his first round of interviews at VOX Africa in their plush Battersea studios to record Face2Face and Focus on Ghana.
Sarkodie’s PR team confirm that his 2nd day in the UK day will face another day of TV and Radio to support his first UK Headline concert at the IndiGo2 in March.

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that his government will not devalue the Naira, stressing that the priority of his administration was to ensure national food security before export of food products.

Buhari said Nigeria needs to export more and not import more, He said that administration had been quite focused on three fundamental issues of securing the country, reviving the economy and stamping out corruption.


“Developed countries are competing among themselves and when they devalue they compete better and manufacture and export more. But we are not competing and exporting but importing everything including toothpicks. So, why should we devalue our currency?”, the President said.

“We want to be more productive and self-sufficient in food and other basic things such as clothing. For our government, we like to encourage local production and efficiency”.

He stressed that Nigeria, being a mono-economy dependent on oil, and with a teeming unemployed youth population, the way out of the current slump in the global oil market, is for the administration to focus on agriculture and solid minerals development.

“The land is there and we need machinery inputs, fertilizer and insecticides,” he said.

Rapper 50 Cent who lost a sex tape lawsuit to Lastonia Leviston and was supposed to pay $7 million in damages, but filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying has been showing stacks of cash in social media and a judge has called him out to explain these photos.


Judge Ann Nevins has asked Fif to come and explain the source of money in the photos, telling his lawyers: “I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case.”

The photos include one where 50 Cent spells out “BROKE” with stacks of money, and another one of his fridge with a bottle of Effen Vodka surrounded by wads of cash.

A little boy, Ahmed Mansour Karni, who was born in September 2012, got the life in prison term on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, after being convicted of offenses that allegedly occurred two years ago. The Jerusalem Post reports.

A court in Western Cairo this week sentenced a four-year-old boy to life in prison on various heinous charges bordering on murder, inciting riots, destruction of government property and threatening cops.

Reports states that he was charged four counts of murder, eight counts of attempted murder, vandalizing property belonging to the Egyptian Health Administration in his home province of el-Fayoum, threatening soldiers and police officers and damaging vehicles belonging to security forces.

Although Karni’s birth certificate was presented to the court, one of his defense attorneys accused the presiding judge of failing to review the case before abruptly passing down a life sentence on a four-year-old child.

Lawyer Faisal a-Sayd asserted, “The child Ahmed Mansour Karni’s birth certificate was presented after state security forces added his name to the list of accused, but then the case was transferred to the military court and the child was sentenced in absentia in an ensuing court hearing. This proves that the judge did not read the case.”

Another Egyptian lawyer Mohammed Abu Hurira issued a fiery response, writing:

“On the eve of injustice and madness in Egypt, a four year-old child was sentenced to life imprisonment. He is accused of disturbance, damage to property and murder. The Egyptian scales of justice are not reversible. There is no justice in Egypt. No reason. Logic committed suicide a while ago. Egypt went crazy. Egypt is ruled by a bunch of lunatics.”
