Lamar Odom has disclosed his addiction to sex in his new memoir “Darkness to Light” in which he also spoke about his relationship with reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
Writing about his addiction to sex, the former NBA star said:
“I have been obsessed with sex for as long as I can remember. I am a sex addict — I’ve had sex with more than two thousand women. “There were too many strippers to count. It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them,” he adds.
He went on to reveal that in 2005, his third child, a son, with Liza, who died, made everything to go downhill for him. This also led to his infidelity.

“My sex addiction and my cocaine addiction go hand in hand. The first time I tried cocaine was in 2004. The rush was like nothing I’d felt before. I was a drug addict plain and simple. The first time I overdosed, I came within minutes of dying,” he writes.
Lamar Odom suffered an overdose in 2015 in the midst of his divorce from Khloe Kardashian. He was found at a Las Vegas brothel and had to be rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

“I didn’t know if I would play again,” writes the athlete. “I didn’t even know if I would walk or talk again.”
“I met Khloe Kardashian in 2009. Her eyes reminded me of my mother’s,” he writes.
“For a while, being with her was bliss and I was the happiest I’ve ever been.” “At the start of our marriage I was faithful to her,”
Odom writes. “But my cocaine use spiked in the summer of 2011.”
That year, he “rarely touched a basketball. I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity. Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression.”
Odom says he knew what he was doing was wrong, but he couldn’t control his addictions.
“I couldn’t keep my d**k in my pants or the coke out of my nose,” he writes. “Drug addicts are incredibly skilled at hiding their habit. I’d get defensive and Khloe would just drop it. I was giving up on my NBA career — the only thing that ever gave me solace,” he writes, adding that he didn’t get called by the league, and as his former teammates trained, he destroyed his mind and body.
Speaking about his overdose, he says he doesn’t know how he survived, but he’s determined to never return to that terrifying place again.
“On Tuesday morning, I lay on the floor in my room at the Ranch, dying. My body was convulsing. The women who kept me company screamed and called 911,” he writes.
“I was taken to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. There was an unholy concoction of cocaine, cognac, and cannabis coursing through my veins. My heart stopped twice. I had twelve seizures and six strokes. My lungs collapsed and my kidneys ruptured. I was on life support.”
“Everyone I’d ever loved was looking at me through bleary eyes. Khloe never left my side. She didn’t shower for days. Kim’s resiliency was incredible too. They put chairs together for her to sleep across at night,” Odom writes.
“On October 16, I opened my eyes for the first time in 48 hours. From the darkness to the light.”
Odom admits he’s “still an addict,” but is working to improve his life.

Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the plan by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State to start cultivating Marijuana.
The governor who is currently in Thailand with the NDLEA boss revealed that his state will be tapping into the legal marijuana market because the plant thrives well on its soil.
He tweeted:
“We all know that Ondo State is the hot bed of cannabis cultivation in Nigeria. We know how to grow it and it thrives well in the Sunshine State. With an estimated value of $145 Billion in 2025, we would be shortchanging ourselves if we failed t tap into the Legal Marijuana Market“.
In reaction, Shehu Sani advised the governor to consider investing in Beans, Rice, Yam etc instead of marijuana.
“My Brother Akeredolu, Lagos partnered with Kebbi for Rice, please partner with Niger for Beans, Kaduna for Ginger or partner with Benue for Yam; Please leave this Indian Hemp matter for now, abeg.”
His opinion was however contradicted by AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, who noted that the senator’s hair would benefit a lot from marijuana cultivation. In reaction, Shehu Sani tweeted:
“My Friend, Yele Sowore, my Hair doesn’t need that marijuana to glow,I wish you,Governor Akeredolu and Majek all the best;if you succeed,then you are right.When we meet we shall debate it”.

A morgue in Kenya experienced a mild drama after four women fought over the body of a man they each claimed was their husband.
The three of the ladies who came to claim the body of the deceased are identified as Janet Wambui, Lydia Wanjiru, Susan Wakuthii; the fourth is yet to be identified.
The deceased, Peter Mwangi Gichobu, a Taxi driver a.k.a boda boda rider, reportedly died in an accident which occurred at Nyangati-Embu road a month ago.
The four women on getting to the Kirinyaga County Funeral Parlour fought over the body of a man they each claimed was their husband and had to be separated by police offcers from Kerugoya police post who intervened in the matter.
The Morgue authorities however revealed that the death certificate would be given to the deceased’s next of kin who was his uncle, Kanyekiini MCA, Harrison Ngiria. They also promised the angry ladies that they would be included during the distribution of the wealth left by the man. It was further learnt that the 32-year-old man had a son with each of the women.

Duke and duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan have released first images of their baby boy.

Two days after the birth of their son, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, held a photo call at their home in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage. Due to rain in Windsor, the couple walked through St. George’s Hall where their wedding reception was held has year.

Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El Rufaihas revealed how godfatherism in Lagos State can be out to a stop.
Speaking in Ikoyi Lagos at an event organised by the Bridge Club tagged, “An evening with His Excellency Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State”, the governor said if he could retire four godfathers in his own state, such can also be replicated anywhere even in Lagos.

Speaking further, he pointed out that to stop godfatherism in the state, one must make use of the remaining 5 Million voters who didn’t turn out to vote but of the six million registered.
He said, “Here in Lagos, you have over six million registered voters, only about a million voted (in 2019 general elections); five million did not vote. If I want to run for governor of Lagos, I will start now. I will commission a study to know why those five million registered voters did not vote; where do they go on election day? Then I will start visiting them for the next four years. I will try and get just two million of them to come and vote for me; I will defeat any godfather. The key is to go to the people. The card reader and the biometric register have given us the tools to connect directly with the people. I assure you if you do that for the next four years, connecting with the people; the tin godfather, you will retire him or her permanently. But it is hard work; it requires three to four years of hard work. So, if you want to run in 2023, you should start now.”
On the question of money, El-Rufai said it would require about N2bn to do the job, which could be provided by businessmen.
“With about N2bn; if you start, you see these guys with black ties, they will give you the N2bn. Many of the godfathers are either on paper or in the mind of people in politics. They are defeatable. We retired four of them in Kaduna State within a four-year time and they are gone. One of them boasted that he put me in the government house and he would take me out.”

Lindi Qhoma from South Africa was brutally killed after being allegedly mocked about her weight by three thugs before one of them shot her in the face.
According to her sister, Bulelwa Qhoma (28), Lindi had always been mocked for being fat.
Lindi was killed Tuesday in Tshepisong, near Mogale City in South Africa. The incident started after Lindi and her mum Mpondo Qhoma had bought groceries, and got into a taxi from Tshepisong to their home in Slovoville, Soweto.
According to Bulelwa, when they got into the taxi, three men ridiculed and insulted Lindi and said she was taking up too much space.
“Lindi told the men she was aware of her looks and didn’t see anything wrong with being fat,” said Bulelwa. “Then the men got angry and pulled out their guns.”
She said the driver tried to apologise on Lindi’s behalf.


“But that’s when the man sitting in front pulled out his gun and shot at her,” she said. “The first bullet missed her. The second hit her in the face. She died on the way to hospital.”
Bulelwa said her mother collapsed after the incident and has since been rushed to the hospitalto the hospital.

“Dobsonville police have launched a manhunt for the three suspects following an incident where a 28-year-old woman was shot in the head.”

It has been revealed that half of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results will likely be canceled by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in some states due to malpractice.
An official tied to the examination body, who requested anonymity to be able to discuss JAMB’s delay in releasing results, revealed that massive malpractice was recorded during the examination.
He told Premimu Times that the “fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners,” would leave many people shocked.
Closed Circuit Television cameras were installed across the about 700 centres for the examination.
“Those people, I trembled when I saw the magnitude of malpractice they perpetrated, in spite of the technological measures JAMB took. I don’t know what we can do again,” Premium Times quotes the source as saying
“If you look at the CCTV camera recordings, you would now wonder whether these people thought we were just joking when we insisted on installation of CCTV cameras. I am sure they didn’t believe us because anybody that had believed us would not have tried what they tried in those places.”
JAMB is being expected to announce the release of the 2019 UTME results this week.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reacted to the viral reports claiming that its servers crashed and that candidates will need to rewrite the UTME 2019.

Debunking the reports, JAMB said the results of candidates who participated in its 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( UTME) are intact.
The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, gave the assurance in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.
Benjamin reacted to speculations in some quarters that the board issued a press statement, explaining that the release of the UTME results was being delayed because its server crashed and that candidates should prepare for another examination.
”We want to distance ourselves from such malicious and wicked rumours by fraudulent persons, as there is no truth in them.
”We did not issue any press statement concerning crashing of server. All these are antics of desperate persons trying to cause panic and confusion among candidates and the general public.
”We are not going to succumb to such rumours as we remain focused in ensuring that we achieve what we have set out to do.
”After the examination, the board embarked on a screening to determine any form of examination malpractice and infractions by both candidates and examination centres. This is what has been delaying the release of the results,” he told NAN.
The official said that the board had almost completed the screening and would soon releaseresults of deserving candidates.
”What we are trying to do is to ensure that innocent persons are not punished, but I can assure you that we are going to punish all those found wanting,” he said.
Benjamin appealed to Nigerians to believe in the board’s ability to rid of what he described as ‘criminal elements’
According to him, Nigerians should appreciate what the board is doing as it is for the benefit of the Nigerian child and the national large.
”We want to correct so many things might have been taken for granted in the past.
”When fraudulent individuals get away with their mischievous acts, it is because the society is in a hurry to run to a conclusion, not mindful of the fact that certain acts should be pursued painstakingly to a logical conclusion.
”I want to let you know that the board has secured conviction of some UTME fraud suspects in Kebbi.
”Therefore, we equally want to seize this opportunity to thank the judiciary for doing a good job, as we urge others to key into what has been achieved in Kebbi in an effort to get rid of fraudulent persons and sanitise the system,” he said.
Benjamin urged candidates to be calm and wait for their results to be released soon.
”I want to urge candidates not to entertain any fear. Their results are intact,” he said.

Nigeria’s population has hit 201 million, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has revealed in its 2019 state of the world population report.

According to the report, Nigeria’s population has grown from 54.7 million in 1969 to 105.4 million in 1994 and 201.0 million in 2019.

Of this 201 million, 44% or 88.44 million are between the ages of 0 and 14, while 32%, 64.32% are within the ages of 10 and 24.

Ondo State Police Command has arrested Deji Adenuga, the suspected murderer who set ablaze nine members of his estranged girlfriend’s family in Igbodigo.


The Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Femi Joseph confirmed the arrest today in Akure. According to Joseph, the suspect was arrested under a bridge, along Lagos/Benin Expressway in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Adenuga was reported to have at 2.00 a.m. while the family members were asleep, poured petrol around their apartment and set it on fire.
He is said to be one of the inmates that escaped from the Olokuta Prison in Akure, during the prison break that occurred in 2013.

Nigerians are calling for the release of Zainab Aliyu, a beautiful Nigerian girl who was nabbed in Saudi Arabia with drugs.

Reports say plans have been conluded for the execution of Zainab in Saudi Arabia, however new findings may prove she is innocent of the allegation.

Recently, some airport staff were arrested for running a cartel which specializes in placing drugs in luggages of unsuspecting travellers.

The staff were arrested at the Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano State.

Nigerians are now saying Zainab may be innocent of the charges against her and that the Tramadol found in her bag may have been placed there by a member of the airport cartel.

Senate President Bukola Saraki has been nominated as an “Ambassador-at-Large” of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC).
According to a communique issued by the Senate President’s Media Office, Saraki’s nomination was confirmed in a letter dated March 16, 2019. In that letter, Ambassador Friday Sani, the Diplomatic Head of the Commission to Nigeria and other African Countries, stated that as a sequel to the approval of the World Secretary General of the IHRC, Dr. Saraki has been appointed as one of the revered Ambassadors-at-Large of the multinational body.
“While our role as a regional body is to promote and encourage institutions and persons to uphold human dignity across the world, we must not fail to mention the commendation of our Nigerian team over your resolute efforts in the stability of your country and your firm leadership of the Nigerian Senate which is adjudged to be among the most proactive parliaments across the world.
“Besides, the Commission is not unmindful of the maturity that you recently displayed in the face of an obvious provocation in your constituency during the last Presidential and National Assembly elections,” Ambassador Sani said in the letter.
In the new capacity, Saraki is expected to lead the diplomatic team of the IHRC in various diplomatic missions across the world. The Senate President, on April 10th, 2019, accepted the nomination of the Commission, while also expressing his appreciation to the IHRC for his nomination.

The videos of two sisters attacking their female friend who is allegedly having an affair with their father, has gone viral, with Nigerians divided over the cause of disagreement with the ladies.
According to the first video clip posted on Twitter handle of one Rukevwe, @sie_tes, three ladies were seen “interrogating” another lady during which one of the attackers slapped the victim whose name was given simply as Mirabel. During the heated conversation, which was in pidgin English, one of the ladies asked Mirabel why she was sending her pictures to an unnamed man who turned out to be the father of the other two ladies in the video.
“You dey send am your picture!” one of the ladies said to Mirabel. Then another asked, “Wetin you dey do for am wey him dey send you money?” one of the ladies asked Mirabel.
But before she could answer the question, one of the ladies slapped Mirabel, saying;
“You, Mirabel, I go f**k you up for this place, now wey I don come for you. You wey I take as my own. I take you as my own; make I start to dey post you slap now? she asked, ready to pounce again with more slaps. As the assault continued in the second clip posted by Roland_speaks, while one of the ladies tried to refrain the first lady who had slapped Mirabel, pleading with the other two ladies that the assault was enough. E don do,” she kept saying as she kept trying to keep one of the ladies from further attacking Mirabel.
In the meantime, the third lady was now standing directly in front of Mirabel, while the first attacker was eager to have another go at Mirabel.
The second attacker began by saying “Mirabel, I too like you o,” she began to say, adding: “What you did…” she landed another slap in mid-sentence before saying: “…is beyond control. My Daddy dey send money give you, this girl; we dey WhatsApp, we dey everywhere (together); you wan break my Mummy marriage?” she asked again as she landed another slap on Mirabel’s face.
While some Nigerians said the ladies were wrong to have attacked Mirabel instead of taking it up with their father at home, others were of the opinion that it served the victim right.

The father of the alleged drug courier, Zainab Aliyu, who is presently being detained in Saudi Arabia for drug-related offences, has appealed to the Federal
Government of Nigeria, the Saudi authorities and the international community as well as well-meaning individuals to intervene in her daughter’s case and help save the ‘innocent’ lady from being executed wrongly.

Habibu Aliyu, who is not happy that his daughter is cooling off in a Saudi Prison despite the recent discovery that she was framed by some drug cartel, explained that the allegations of Zainab entering the Asian country with Tramadol, was absolute falsehood as recent events and arrests have confirmed the girl’s innocence. Aliyu begged President Muhammadu Buhari and all those involved in his administration consular matters to hasten diplomatic talks with the Kingdom in order to help stop the unfortunate fate that may her daughter. Worried that the girl might be killed inoffensively, Aliyu said: “From the look of things, despite all series of communication between Saudi Arabia and President Buhari’s Adviser on the Diaspora and Foreign Affairs, Abike Dibiri Erewa, this Saudi government is hell-bent on killing my daughter innocently”. Aliyu’s plea is coming on the heels of a revelation that the Federal Government has discovered those behind the dastardly act and is already prosecuting them.

Presidency with a view to negotiating with the Saudi authorities on the need to have the girl released and possibly swap with those behind the mysterious appearance of the poisonous substance in Zainab’s luggage.

The committee’s creation is hinged upon the investigation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) which discovered that a cartel had planted the illicit drug in Zainab’s luggage. The suspects had since been arrested and arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Kano

Angry Avengers fans have attacked and beat up man after he loudly revealed spoilers about new Avengers movie.
The man has reportedly been beaten up outside a cinema in Hong Kong after loudly revealing the plot of the new Avengers film to queuing fans who hadn’t yet seen it.
According to Taiwanese media, the man was left bloodied outside a cinema in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, after watching Avengers End Game.
The film is the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War and is the culmination of 21 feature films and 11 years of production.

A lady identified as Latoshia Daniels, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempt first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, assault of a police officer and resisting arrest after a love affair went wrong.

She opened fire on Brodes Perry, a pastor of assimilation at St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, and his wife, Tabatha, at their home outside of Memphis, U.S, killing Brodes and injuring the wife.

Tabatha told police that they met Daniels while living in Little Rock, Arkansas, and that she thought the unannounced visit from her was “strange.”
“Tabatha stated she was unaware of Brodes having an affair, but Latarshia‘s actions and statements led her to believe that she was possibly having an affair with her husband,” the incident report said.

In the affidavit of complaint, Tabatha said Daniels was at their apartment for about 30 minutes before Brodes came home. The three talked for about 10 minutes before Daniels got up to leave.

The wife told the police that she had opened the front door and stepped outside when she turned and saw the suspect remove a handgun from her jacket and fire several shots at her husband.

As she was shooting, Daniels repeatedly said, “You broke my heart,” according to the affidavit. She was reloading the Ruger 9 mm handgun when police arrived
