InvestmentHow To Invest In Artificial Intelligence by 9jageek(op): 10:50pm On Feb 15, 2024
At this point we all know that Artificial Intelligence is the future. It is the future of jobs, healthcare, transportation and many more industries. AI's market size is projected to reach $407 billion by 2027 according to Forbes Advisor.

It is also projected that hundreds of millions of jobs will be lost to AI. While AI will help with productivity and create millions of unique jobs, many of which will have to do with AI support and training either, more jobs will be lost or disrupted by it.

There is already a lot of controversy right now around AI training jobs, from meager wages of trainers to some organizations using underg-aged trainers (underage labour) to train models. This has brought about a lot of negative attention to AI companies and training data providers for being unfair to the human end of the business especially in Africa where they can get these workers for cheap.

AI is an inevitable future and every wise investor knows that is the next frontier to invest in. We are already witnessing the rise of chip companies providing the infrastructure needed to run AI. If you have some capital lying around you could grab a piece of such companies and make huge returns in the near future. This is very evident for the fact that the chip maker NVIDIA is now the 4th most valuable US company. There are so many investment opportunities that AI comes with, you can read a detailed guide on investing in AI in this Forbes article https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/how-to-invest-in-ai/

Even if you don't have the money to spare, you shouldn't miss out on all the opportunities that AI comes up. You could contribute to an AI community and earn a stake which if you are lucky will grow in value as the community and the AI models it is building grow in value. Such communities enable you to train AI on your phone, like with Raven Protocol https://ravenprotocol.com and others also let you contribute data and label data for stake in the AI project like Theia https://theiapp.com

Whatever you do, don't just sit and watch the AI growth pass you by.

Technology MarketCommunity Owned Artificial Intelligence (AI) by 9jageek(op): 10:45am On Sep 25, 2023
I like the idea I came across of a community owned AI project. Instead of giving the big tech players all the power and watching them make all the money, people like you and I can join, help train the AI and become part owners. It is called the Theia AI Project https://theiapp.com

CelebritiesWhy Are Only Celebrities Picked As Brand Ambassadors? by 9jageek(op): 11:39am On Nov 13, 2019
Newly crowned BBNaija winner Mercy and her ex-housemate and "rival" Tacha have now hit celebrity status since the competition ended. Now they get paid to PARTY cool and get brands to sponsor their expensive lifestyles shocked This makes me wonder if one can become a brand ambassador without actually becoming a celebrity first like proposed in the 7th Picture Ambassador Programme https://7thpicture.com/ambassador

The program wants to identify your talent first and your ability to create a following, and then will push you to celebrity status while promoting international brands.

CelebritiesRe: How Does One Aspire To Become A Celebrity? by 9jageek: 4:43pm On Nov 08, 2019
AdeniyiJoshua:
To aspire, I think is not a problem. Anyone can aspire to be a celebrity. I aspire to be a well known thought leader in my area of expertise. My aspiration to be that person is as easy as I right now desire a grilled full goat meat spiced with all sorts and a full crate of Heineken grin. I have the desire, but to get a hold of that in actuality is where the stress is ... cry

The aspiration is not really a big deal. Becoming what I aspire to be is where the problem and hassle lie.

To become a star, there is much work to be done from the angle of self development and self presentation (Which one could call branding) ... and much more complicated celebrity intricacies, being in the social limelight, throwing oneself out in the right way, creativity, establishing right connections and relationships, harnessing the right platforms to showcase talents... some of which have been rightly mentioned already.

""""""""""
Awesome point!
CelebritiesRe: How Does One Aspire To Become A Celebrity? by 9jageek: 10:58am On Nov 08, 2019
Personal branding matters a lot. Some are good at getting the attention even if they don't have any talent. Look at Kim Kardashian.
