Two unemployed Nigerian girls who says age and weight are not on their side have said the internet will know no peace until they secure a job in the land they got the education from. The girls who graduated with a 2’1 have opened a twitter account where they have been campaigning for a job. According to them, they have walked every nook and cranny of Lagos State looking for a job, with no hope of getting one. They have however resulted in cursing every company they have dropped their CVs with and even calling on God to deal with them for employing people with connections rather then the diligent ones It’s sad, it is heart breaking. But really I think the government should do something fast about unemployment. We all can’t be entrepreneurs. Here’s a comment they dropped here on the blog, funny girls, but hey, they are serious, lol. Btw, their twitter bio reads; WHO ARE WE? TWO SMART, UNEMPLOYED GIRLS! WHAT DO WE NEED? A JOB! WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW! THE INTERNET WOULD KNOW NO PEACE TILL OUR NEEDS ARE MET! My friend and I are fresh business graduates and we are sick and tired of looking for a job. Age and weight is not on our side! We wake up everyday and trek from the mainland to the island with our cv's only to be told 'no vacancy'. God will judge all these stingy companies hiring secretly. Is it because we don't have connections eh? Imagine 2'1 holders submitting CV to security men of companies. What is this life? Every night, we add a new sentence to our cv yet nothing nothing. We have remixed our cover letter in every language in Nigeria yet nothing nothing. Nigerian companies keep saying they don't want entry level applicants except marketers. The few times they request, they would use GMAT to frustrate somebody. See, physically we may have be entry level hires but spiritually, we are experienced. If we are not working for you, you are wrong! We have filled the career sites of a 1001 companies yet no response from them! One day, we are going to be CEO's and these companies would offer us business proposals. That's when we would pay back!!! For every company that has sent us a regret mail, we would bounce back bigger and better. For now, we need a decent job please. Help! Twitter is @2unemploydgirls Email is 2unemployedgirls@gmail.com Their tweets on twitter; |

The Federal Ministry of Health has advised men who were treated and discharged of Ebola virus to avoid s*xual intercourse for at least seven weeks. Dr Bridget Okoeguale, Director, Department of Public Health, gave the advice during interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday. Okoeguale said this was in line with protocols issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO). “There are many literatures that say that after men are infected, when the virus is not found in the blood, it tends to stay in the semen for about seven weeks to three months. “What we did according to the WHO protocol is that we made sure that when the men are discharged they are given enough condoms, if they cannot abstain for that period. “We advise them to abstain from s*x but where they cannot abstain, they are provided condoms and after the (abstinence) period, we double test to make sure they are free,” she said. On the treatment of Ebola patients, Okoeguale said no drugs or vaccinations were given to them, adding that health authorities had complied with WHO treatment protocol. Okoeguale said everybody had his/her own body reaction, “so our own is to help build their immunity, give them fluid to replace lost fluid through vomiting and diarrhoea.” She explained that the patients were also placed on electrolyte by intravenous fluid to avoid dehydration, adding that those who were anaemic had blood transfusion. “That is the supportive care that has helped us to be able to discharge more than five people,” Okoeguale said. The director also advised the general public to avoid crowded social gathering. “We are not advising people not to go to club or bar but if you have to just remember that you must keep your hands clean, avoid contact with as many people as possible.” She urged Nigerians not to consider the disease as a death sentence and that recent cases had shown survival rates for patients were high with early detection and treatment. The backlash he got from that stunt obviously didn't affect him because he's still treating his members like animals. He's pictured above stepping on his obedient members during a deliverance service recently. See More Photos Here |

Maheeda is in the news again. This time around she is defending why there’s no big deal in going n*ked, how her in-laws have accepted her, and how her mother in-law going as fas as getting her a n*ked modelling job. Lol. But the most interesting part in all of this is that, her husband does not want his pictures splashed on the internet and warns her whenever she does that. Her husband’s reaction when she puts up his picture online; My husband doesn’t want to be in the limelight, he is a private person. Sometimes, I try to put his pictures, his reaction is don’t do that, I don’t want it. Then about her mother in-law getting her a n*kd modelling job, Maheeda says; They are not bothered. In Holland, when it comes to TV commercials people almost go completely n*ked, so , me wearing pants, G-strings and all to them, have not even started because it is normal for them. Recently, my husband’s mother got me a modelling job and I’ll have to pose nude, she said you have to be n*ked and I am like of course. |
