cash transfer scheme was a double edge strategy, it wasnt a good fiscal policy to just give market women free cash without actually working on a fiscal policy to make some of them become casual workers working long term for a big company instead of dong petty trade, a lot of their business models are not sustainable and they dont benefit the economy in general because they dont pay tax and levies that will impact the economy, most of them used the money to buy food for their families or clothing. it was awoof galore as usual

If you check their website and check the list of donors, you will notice it is the usual banks who make donations ,then some other companies and the usual Nigerian Billionaires, if a lot of companies especially the ones involved with importing goods into the country were involved in donating ,i guess over 100 billion naira would have been raised. The lack of spirited patriotism even amongst Nigeria elites is alarming. There is no compulsion from the average Nigerian Elite to donate and support a worthy cause, maybe it is the general apathy from having Buhari as President and because the economy is at a standstill.

If you check their website, all their projects and achievements are well documented especially in the setting up of various emergency covid health centres. But in the distribution of food palliatives, they probably made a mistake by not creating a food stamp distribution system , it is clear that the food distribution system has been politically hijacked by the various states typical of political controversies in Nigeria. I was impressed how a website was created and a platform created to even make online donations and receive foreign funding and support. It only goes to show that private/public partnerships can work perfectly in Nigeria. Also it is note worthy that the materials were branded as a ca covid initiative. A food stamp system should have been done where people could have registered using their phones to get some of the food palliatives instead of gathering people at one location and sharing it out.

that speech was remarkable, i mean can you imagine the simplicity and ingenuity of this speech, it is so glaring that this government has failed to recruit and hire professionals to do a good job, even an ordinary speech writing task cannot be apportioned or delegated to competent hands. it's sad really

Let me give you a scenario , you live in a house and you are consistently attacked spiritually and health wise by people who do it repeatedly and before they sleep and wake up in the night and morning, they pray for forgiveness and blessings and they don't commit petty sins, they repeatedly commit sins of harming plants,animals, human beings with sickness. They destroy plants that the creator created to heal the sick. They project telepathic attacks repeatedly to their victims, they refuse to even adhere to instructions in their religious books to make peace in a communicable language that is understandable by all. What if the same people also in secret engage in witchcraft and still claim Christianity.
What do Christians have to say about this. Or is the entire concept of Christianity a ploy to dominate others and suppress their rights.
