The reason the story did not make sense to me is that it is very very very foolish for a person who is not in the entertainment industry to be putting his messy family business online.

Divorce the woman and move on. Now people who want to do business with you Google you and this is the mess they see.

In addition he has now brought in feminist army backup who will want to avenge their sister. If he has misrepresented any of the facts or lied it can get very very messy. The lawyers representing the ex wife are based in ikoyi, not somolu. Rich chicks with an axe to grind.
Nothing wrong with a dude talking on one condition that he did nothing wrong. This Boomer mindset of always being silent needs to die. Na wetin kill Saint Obi be this, Silence culture

Scandals is nothing new even Bill Clinton and Trump have been involved in scandals. If he is good at what he does he will get business regardless. E no commit crime

It will be an audio lawsuit and nobody will win nothing just usual Twitter noise

What's with Drake and all these monotonous timestamp tracks. 1 AM in Okokomaiko grin grin

Lyrical wise it was actually solid. Drake pen is nothing to sneeze at. The issue is the subject matter and the '"woe is me" energy on all these tracks, the beats are mid and the mood dreary, are you the victor or the victim?? plus you sued so what are you still dissing for? It felt like a continuation of the Heart pt 6

@Ibime Do you rate the track?

You saw the Stefon Diggs trial? At least guy man escaped with acquittal. Either the drugs or the women, both out to get you. And if you escape that, congrats, you get to deal with relatives
Stefon has himself to blame. One can only hope he's learned his lesson. A lot of these people outside their sporting pursuits don't necessarily make the best choices. Relatives are a pretty easy one. Help the grateful ones cut off the entitled ones. It's really that simple.

We all need healthy coping mechanisms especially these guys that can actually afford their vices which might be drugs and or women

I actually agree with you and A40 that in a functioning country the government shouldn’t be sponsoring religious programs. This is not me defending the Katsina government in any way.

I am simply looking at it from the perspective of over 3500 Katsina Muslims being helped by their government to fulfill a major aspect of their religion. That is why I said I can’t begrudge a program helping thousands of citizens when we have seen public funds wasted on things that benefited absolutely nobody.

To me it’s similar to the government distributing sewing machines to over 1,000 youths. You can debate priorities but it’s still a program directly benefiting actual people.
Lol. The government is merely using religion as a tool. Religion is the opium of the masses and they are weaponizing it

Nobody said Hajj trips will solve insecurity or poverty. The point is that it’s still a direct program benefiting actual citizens instead of politicians announcing projects that never leave paper and pocketing the funds plus funding a welfare program for pilgrims doesn’t stop the Katsina government from also tackling insecurity.
Taking loans to pay for religious pilgrimage makes sense to you and is beneficial to citizens?? grin grin

I now understand why the Chinese abolish religion altogether at least in their schools. Cos why would you even defend this nonsense

We are not talking of building health centers, schools and programs that address their atrocious HDI rates you're talking about pilgrimage? Smh.

He's been out injured for like 3 seasons barely playing. It's very easy to stumble on other demons.

These athletes really go through a lot. Look at the NFL alone this past season we had two players that committed suicide as well.

I won't be surprised if he stumbled into some darkness that not being able to play can lead to.

While I will give Presti his due, I will praise Mark Daigneault even more. He gets the best out of average players. I mean look at what he has done with players like Dort! Opponents used to leave Dort open from beyond the arc but today he has become lethal. He has also made him a better defender and he sticks simple plays. McCain comes in and does the same thing, C. Wallace.. Put another coach on that bench and they look like players with the Wizards.
I will give Presti the credit cos he brings the groceries, it's an endless conveyor belt. And he's the one that has been doing the wheeling and dealing. Getting Shai, picking up Hartenstein from the Knicks, McCain from the Sixers

Ajay Mitchell is on an $8m contract for the next 3 years. Nuggets paid Christian Braun $125m for 5 years. Swap Nuggets roster with OKC roster and let's see what Daigneault does.

So I do think while Daigneault is a really good coach Presti is the real cheat code, compare him to the Pacers GM that skipped on a loaded draft class to trade for Ivica Zubac

Lmao 😂

But I think most, if not all international airlines would still want to fly to and from MMIA, especially when the current reconstruction of terminal 1 would be completed by December 2027.

So, at best, the Lekki airport will handle far fewer international flights, but way more local flights. I also don’t believe the Lekki airport will be handling regional flights because part of the agreement that was struck between Tinubu and Babalakin is that Bi-Courtney (at MMIA) would also handle as many regional flights as possible.
That means, for eg, that we could see Lekki - London flights, but not Lekki - Accra, or Lekki - Dakar
Moving international flights solely to that location would be an unmitigated disaster

Guys no dey ever hear. Young girls these days are bad prospects for serious relationship and marriage. This is not 1990.
I always say it, as a guy, if you want a serious relationship/marriage go for ladies above 28.
Younger ladies now are either not mature enough to understand commitment or aren't interested in commitment, but most guys still won't hear because a lot of them are looking for someone they'll lord over like dictators.

Young girls of nowadays are only good for casual flings to be honest. As side chicks/fvck mates, any guy trying to take them serious is on a long thing, it's 50/50 chance.

The last part on bold is very spot on.
This thing no get manual. Old or young what matters is her orientation and her background. Did you meet her in survival mode? What is her investment in the relationship outside her vagina? What's her moral compass? Is she actually a wife or a scallywag that you put a ring on. None of this is necessarily tied to her age.

This particular Ugo guy I doubt he is significantly older than this babe. It's a Gen Z and Millennial issue. Any woman under 45 is not exempt

The problem is most guys are led by their wood and their emotions, they think a woman making herself available to eat your money means she loves you, they are not verifying and checking her actual skin in the game

Also a cultural issue. Nigerian men were raised on tricking and peacockin, the women were raised to expect and demand it.

I especially agree with the last part. I do not think we win that championship without it going down to the wire. It's hard to defend the position. He played the last two games as you pointed out. Surely if his getting suspended led to a loss of momentum, his return should fix it. It didn't. Which means there's probably something else. My guess is that the star players weren't experienced enough, and not as stacked as people make it seem. They won 72 games because they were doing something relatively new. The run to the 2022 championship was the first year i could properly judge Stephen Curry in isolation(as much as i could come close to it). As in can he really carry a team, given his size? I am glad he proved that he could.

In short, GSW going up 3-1 was the anomaly. But i understand why Draymond and others would buy into the idea that his suspension was the reason. Anything to make myself more important than i am is welcome.

For the first line, while it may be true that GSW cuddled him, I do not know if there's any other way to manage such an oversensitive player without hitting his performance( i maintain that he was important in every championship). You cannot also cuddle such a player without enabling him. So as a business you have a choice to make. They made theirs , and it produced 4 championships. Most owners would take that. It increased the value of the team.
An underrated element in that Warriors collapse that is often swept under the rug and also explains why Draymond returning to the last two games ultimately didn't matter was the injury to Bogut

Overall that Warriors team pre KD were not as stacked as people think. That is myth and urban legend. They had no size compared to the Cavs and actually over achieved

When you look at the perimeter and bigs, Love, Thompson, LeBronze, Jr Smith, Shumpert, Richard Jefferson compare that to the Warriors and you see what I'm saying.

Draymond to his credit was actually very good in the 2016 series but that says a lot to how poorly Steph and especially Klay played

Draymond IMO should have been kicked out after the Poole incident. He was mostly useless in the 4th title run and actually ran off the best young player that might have extended Steph's title window.

Now you're stuck with 3 old guys that are going to trick themselves again into believing they can compete next year once Jimmy returns

The Meerkat converted the corner pieces (JB & Tatum) of the franchise into 3 point spammers. I mean we watched JB and Tatum under Brad and Udoka and neither player was jacking up 3s like they are doing under this Meerkat. When you look at JB and Tatum's physical attributes, they should be driving to the paint. We saw JB during the regular season even after Tatum returned, he was driving to the bucket and punishing teams, so what changed? Tatum has become too lazy, scared of getting injured or comfortable with the 3 ball that he no longer drives.
I remember several seasons ago banging the drum about the evils of 3pt spamming and how it makes you a lazy hooper. Guys like you listed there Tatum and Brown are a good example of that.

The other aspects of your game suffer. This was what the 🐐 MJ specifically said when they asked him why he didn't take a lot of 3s. For guys like Harden it's already too late but the likes of Tatum and Brown can still be salvaged

We are seeing it in real time with Donovan Mitchell. He has become such a 3pt spamming merchant now he doesn't even get to the free throw line anymore. Besides the last two games

Roland17:
When you look at our typical starting 5 of D. White/ Hauser/ JB/ Tatum/ Queta, outside of Hauser, which other player is a recognized career 3 point shooter? D. White is the worst of all with his irresponsible attempts. He was known for his defense when he was with the Spurs and when he attacked he drove to the bucket but somehow, the Meerkat gets a hold of him and converts him to a 3 ball spamming merchant.
Naah but look at OKC for example and look at your role player guys. Scheirmann, Pritchard, Walsh all these guys besides Pritchard are basically useless outside of 3pt spamming. OKC have guys like Mitchell, Wallace, Caruso who can either score and or facilitate. Your role players are mostly specialists that are useless at everything else

The White example is another one. His skillset IMO has always been limited but being a high volume low efficiency 3pt spammer is basically suicide

Roland17:
As for JB/ Tatum, I think we expect too much from them. Most 1-2 punches never get along, especially outside the court and they are not different. What makes it worse, is that they are distinctively different people outside the court. JB has shown he can be the number 1 in any franchise but I don't think he will get it as long as Tatum is still on the team. I think we have reached the ceiling for both and it may be time for one to move on.
Not getting along off court is one thing but I don't know that they get along on court.

When you come out and say the season where your most prominent teammate is out for the majority and you blew a 3-1 lead is your best season thus far, even above the season you won a title and were recognized as both ECF and Finals MVP. We have to wonder, what means the world to you is it winning or being recognized as the guy over Tatum.

Whatever you say man, I agree with you. And to think we'd have had more championships if he or the front office had kept his mouth and behaviour in check.

I've been done with him since he chased KD out and hit Poole. He and H.Barnes were arguably the reason we blew that 3-1 lead, pushed to get KD on the team and then started barking saying "We won without KD". Abeg abeg with his hypocrisy. Wonderful player if you look only at his defensive impact and that's it. I honestly rate his "leadership".

And then the Steve Kerr slander? He needs to go.
The Warriors coddled him and this is the prize they've won for that. I'd argue that 4th chip y'all won it without him.

Klay certainly played a bigger role than him for that chip and Klay is gone while y'all continue to allow him overrate his importance whereas he's never been more than the 4th best player for all your chips

15. Steph, Iggy, Klay
17. KD, Steph, Klay
18. Steph, KD, Klay
22. Steph, Wiggins, Poole

I don't even agree his suspension cost the Warriors the 16 chip cos he played the last two games and they still lost (fair play on his Game 7 performance though)

My feels is not much makes Jaylen happy. Guy man is too "intellectual" for his own good. I think he and Tatum are on good terms, but Tatum is going to be too low key for him
He might be KD's appointed successor in terms of malcontentment.

I won't be surprised if the Celtics are looking to ship him at some point.

I like Jaylen's game but he has to understand the days of him feeling slighted and unrecognized is gone. He's gotten his fair shake in accolades and contract.

Hell I'd argue the fact that he's been let off the hook for blowing a 3-1 lead that's what he should be really pissed off about. Cos if he's really that dude he would get the criticism of losing that comes with the praise of winning like other superstars do. So perhaps he's not truly viewed as a superstar and it eats at him

Let's be fr. Who's tuning to Inside NBA to hear what Draymond Green thinks on anything? I don't find anything he says entertaining or profound.

Actually he tries to be the victim and villain in the same stories. One minute you're the big, bad wolf not to be messed with next minute you're stereotyped and oppressed as the angry black man. Like bro which one is it? You can't be both

They're trying to market him as a Chuck replacement but the mistake is Chuck is not ultra sensitive. He can give roasting and he can take roasting without getting in his feelings. Draymond is always in his feelings

One more thing is that this ring culture has really been misused and abused. We used to use it to separate guys in the upper room of the 🐐 conversation. The MJs, LeBronze, Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, Bird etc.

It was not for passengers like Draymond to shoot at the mouth at a top 5-7 PF of all time like Chuck
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:22pm On May 07
Roland17:
I disagree. Neither Brad nor Udoka coached the Celtics like this nonsense the Meerkat is doing. This is all about the Meerkat. Under Brad we ran a balanced offense and had a strong defense. Udoka took our defense and intensity a notch higher with a structured offense predicated on constant ball movement. The Meerkat comes and decides to convert this team to a 3 ball spamming team! JB and Tatum played under all 3 coaches.
Then he should be on the chopping block. Why I'm also putting some blame on Mazulla is that looking at that roster I don't think your boys even have the ability to play any other way. All I'm seeing is a bunch of catch and shoot guys.

Also what's up with Jaylen Brown. Why do I sense he's not happy with the Celtics. I've never believed he and Jayson Tatum get along and his recent crashout hints at that. I don't think those two are boys that hang out outside the Celtics building
