all former student visa subclass is now subclass 500. create immi account for the dependent, u will be guided thru the portal. self explanatory as far as u have it Visa grant number to fill in.

How can immi account be used for a dependant application when the student came in with 572 (Paper application) ? Would appreciate your idea. Thanks.

I would love to study diploma in information technology in CIT Canberra institute of technology and the program is for one year I would love to know what are my prospect in getting into the school and can I be allowed to stay after my one year study. the cost of leaving and the weather at Canberra. thanks

My grant story :I applied 4th may, visa was refused on 1st of June.
I reapplied on the 16th of June
Application was sent to Pretoria on 20th June
Grant received today been Sunday 17th June at about 1pm.
I walked this visa path two times,I almost lost hope, but I was issued grant on a Sunday.
God is awesome

God has won the battle for me! It's the Lords doing!
Grant landed this morning.

After a series of phone interview and email correspondence the CO finally gave way.

Lodged on 10th June
Got to pretoria 14th June
CO asked for medicals 24th June
Did phone interview 29th June
She asked for further documents from then till 8th of July. Anything she asked I gave her and she was surprised.

13th June she wrote she's ready to give visa but resumption has passed and that I should collect letter of approval from school for late resumption.

I got my CoE revised at 50 dollars. Sent it to CO yesterday

This morning grant came in!

I give a holla to the wonderful that's been supportive and encouraging here and privately: Cottyekundayo, Dontee5star, bellong, cool Mel, AlvinKem and all.

To other hopefuls, you shall not be disappointed and your wait will soon be over.

Nairaland is really helpful. Probably God lives here.

@aaffluent I went for the medicals after I booked an appointment with them. You can call and book appointment and if urgent just go there in the morning. They will need your HAP ID, yellow card showing polio vacc..and ur intl passport. Make photocopies of the passport and the yellow card including the polio vacc page. Then 2 passport photograph.. about the outcome, my CO is still stressing me asking for more documents everyday. I don tire sef...

Regarding the interview she asked the course I'm going for, how is it relevant to my goals, why I wanna stdy in australia. If I've got properties, do I have a car? If u go will run your business, is your family joining u? Have I bn to other countries, who is sponsoring me...

Its not everybody who came to Australia on study visa that genuinely came to study.

My wife just finished her Nysc she also has a BA Philosophy.. She would do an MSC social Works so she can apply for PR... And expecting a baby this Month... the business was being run on my personal current account. With inflow and outflow of about 40million and 39 million respectively for the last six months! More than that for previous or preceeding months also. The business account was opened in April also to formalise everything!

Hello fellow nairalanders,

Please i need your advice.. I Applied for 572 visa on 18th Feb 2016, I emailed embassy on 3rd march to find out if my application has been received. They replied on 4th March that my application has been received and still understand standard processing time of 3 month.

My IELTS result will be over 2 years after March, another thing is that the school i applied commences on 24th April.. And yet to hear from the embassy, please is it wise to write them an email? I have already uploaded my medicals.. Since last month too..

Awaiting your advice..

I must appreciate the efforts of some great people on this thread, (they are people I call the A-Z Guru's and Oga's). You guys are doing a great job God reward y'all greatly. Been a silent reader after i was denied 572 visa last year(Depressed). I keep asking myself "Can u BELIEVE one more time? i Jump off and shake my refusal, dust documents, REFIRE.

If i shout it wont be enough! You are the great and mighty God, so beautiful to be PRAISE. It was a very tough journey all through the process! and a Long wait which i almost lost hope.

I lodge SAME 572 application in Jan and to God be the Glory I got my Grant Yesterday. To all Expectant, Grace will speak for you this season, in Jesus name!

I would advise you get in touch with Ferdimako. He is an ICT person also.

From what I know, ACS does not require your teanscript directly from the uni, you can just upload it yourself. Also, they deduct some years of experience at times.
