Crime#sarsmustgonow; This Is The Truth About The Nigeria Police by Abaidaboss(op): 12:07pm On Oct 13, 2020
SOURCE: https://sequlsquid.com/sarsmustgonow-this-is-the-truth-about-the-nigeria-police-2-most-states-have-got-a-station-or-a-place-where-police-take-people-found-with-guns-or-accused-of-violent-crimes-and-simply-kill-them/

1. Bail is not free.

It’s also not bail – it’s just a bribe you pay to be released. 2. They don’t investigate. They arrest people who have done nothing and ask them to ‘produce’ the suspect. The arrested people have to investigate.

2. Most states have got a station or a place where police take people found with guns or accused of violent crimes and simply kill them.
Accused people are beaten violently in custody till they confess or reveal their accomplices. People are killed in front of others so they confess

3. If you are accused of murder, you are put in a cell till they are ready to take you out and shoot you.
However, if you pay a certain amount of money, you can be swapped out with some innocent, poor people.

4. There are no ‘shoot-outs’.
Nigeria police routinely shoot people in the legs and say it was a ‘shoot out’. This is a common, accepted tactic in Nigeria. Suspects get shot in the legs. Nigeria police force everyone to write a statement of guilt to absolve themselves.

5. Police do not check your car papers for theft.

They check it so they can find a mistake as an excuse to extort people. In Nigeria, people can ‘arrest’ other people. You go to the police, pay money, and they will ‘arrest’ and hold the person till the person solves what you want to be solved

6. A policeman who extorts or collects bribes is considered 100% normal within the force.
Theft and extortion are just so usual that nobody thinks about them. The people who are to face crime are petty thieves, extortioners and murderers. You accept this, but this is NOT normal!

7. It’s not a few bad eggs
it’s 95% rotten eggs with a very few good eggs trying to do their best even though they are underpaid. You can’t fix this with a bandage. You need to amputate.

Politics13 Times Late General Sani Abacha Sent Money To Nigeria by Abaidaboss(op): 4:01pm On Aug 19, 2020
The case of Abacha is similar to a sugar daddy sending money to his girlfriend whenever she’s in need even though the girlfriend will squander the money on unprofitable things

Sugar daddy, Abacha, has sent money to lover girl, Nigeria on a countless number of times. Isn’t this the kind of relationship many girls dream of?

The well of assets plundered by the former military dictator, General Sani Abacha doesn’t seem to dry up as more assets are been uncovered regularly since his demise

Some Nigerians have taken it as a blessing in disguise.

As hilarious as it sounds, Abacha is sending us funds from paradise when we need it, and some persons are satisfied

So we have curated 13 times Late General Sani Abacha Sent Money To Nigeria. *whispers. we have no idea what the government did with all the funds*
Source: https://sequlsquid.com/13-times-late-general-sani-abacha-sent-money-to-nigeria/

Enjoy, share.

July 1999
President Olusegun Obasanjo found and solidified $420 million in resources

May 2002
President Olusegun Obasanjo made an arrangement with the Abacha family to recover $1.2 billion.

You are blown away, aren’t you? The numbers are shocking and very annoying. You know the Yoruba adage that says “when a situation is beyond crying, we just laugh”. Trust Nigerians, when news like this break, Nigerians just laugh. Let’s hope our sugar daddy, Abacha sends us more money in the nearest future. Don’t forget to share this.

Adulthood is a scam! You were so much in a hurry to grow up and leave your parent’s house. Now you are grown and wished you were a kid again. You missed those days when life was simple, when all you only thought about was food, sleep, and play.

There are a significant number of things you should have known while growing up.

Nobody, not even your parents, ever disclosed to you the scam about adulthood. But we will tell you.

Here are 11 scams you should have known about adulthood

That you won’t be able to share everything as you used to when you were younger, you won’t be able to throw tantrums and break things because you now have responsibilities, you now have commitments, you now have people who count on you for strength so you can’t really break, you can’t share your struggles, you have to always pretend that things are normal.

3. Life is Hard
That’s self-explanatory.

4. They don’t tell you that growing up is a project you’ll have to work on for the rest of your life.

You probably grew up watching romantic movies and fantasizing about your love life. Love is nothing like you see in movies. It’s more complicated than what you see on your screen.

Culture10 Struggles Of Females Stuck In The Friend Zone by Abaidaboss(op): 9:03am On Jun 26, 2020
It's a popular belief that guys hardly zone girls and this is not entirely true. Some ladies will be stuck in that "prison" forever, others might be able to break free but whatever the case, here's a list of the top struggles girls go through in the 'friendzone'.

SOURCE: https://sequlsquid.com/10-struggles-of-females-stuck-in-the-friend-zone/

1. The struggle of being a stalker.

Girl! In as much as you hate to be termed a stalker, you are actually stalking! You're a stalker. You become a self-assigned and acclaimed FBI agent who finds out your crush's every move. You follow him across all social media platforms, you have his number, you know his friends, his family members, his favourite sports, his ex from two years ago, in fact, all his exes, his everything! The only thing you don't know is probably if he likes you and wants you just as much as you want him. You might just die from stalking him if you don't shoot your shot.

2. The struggle of seeing him want someone else.

So you probably haven't summoned the courage to let him know how you feel about him and you're really thinking of how to shoot your shot and boom, he's loving up someone, someone that is not you.

Even worse, if you both are already friends and then he tells you his interest in the other girl. You have to pretend you're cool with it and happy for him. Hug your pillow to sleep dear, the sun shines in the morning.

3. The struggle of overthinking everything.

Yes, very typical. You go just dey 'calcu' everything. 'He replied my text so fast, maybe he actually likes me too', 'he sent me a good morning text', 'he sent me pictures unprovoked', 'he called to check up on me', 'did he mean I'm beautiful?', 'he remembers my birthday!' LOL. Calm down dear, there's a high chance he's just a nice person like that and doesn't intend to be in a relationship with you.

4. The struggle of being an ass kisser.

So, now that you really like him and crush on him but you can't seem to tell him, you then choose (knowingly or unknowingly) to be an ass kisser. Everything he says makes so much sense, every joke he tells is funny, you like whatever he likes, he can never do wrong. Common girl! Get a hold of yourself. Because he's your crush doesn't mean he's perfect and that he's all intelligent! Are you even sure, you both have the same valueshuh

5. The struggle of wanting him after you rejected him at first.

This is quite common. A guy tells you he likes you and wants something serious with you but you outrightly decline because you don't see the picture. You don't like him enough to want something serious. After a good amount of time, because you're conscious he likes you and made his intentions known, you probably start to like him back just as much and want a relationship as well. But there's a problem, you either can't tell him you now like him and he's not bothering to make a second attempt or you tell him and he outrightly also tells you he doesn't want to be in a relationship with you anymore; do me, I do you, man no go vex!

6. The struggle of see finish.

When I say see finish, I mean when he already knows too much about you and doesn't think it's a good idea to be in a relationship with you. This isn't about you being a bad person or not his type. He'll tell you about how you guys are so close he sees you as a 'sister'. Even wild, this so-called brother might have done some nasty things with his 'sister', now you could be guilty of incest.

Although it is not very common that guys would see you as a 'sister' since they would readily say yes when you shoot your shot, especially if you've bonded well enough.

7. The struggle of getting caught up in talking stage or FWB (Friends With Benefits).

So, my dear friend, you've summoned courage and told your crush exactly how you feel and what you want, he's feeling you too but thinks you guys have to know each other better for a relationship to work. But alas, you remain knowing each other better for another decade; talking stage wey no dey end. Or even worse, he tells you he doesn't want to be in a relationship but you guys can be 'friends with benefits' (FWB). Sister girl! Don't you ever think you can make it serious later if you start with FWB, Nah, DON'T. You'll just keep hurting because that's not what you want!

Tip: If talking stage takes too long, it's advisable you reiterate the purpose of the 'talking stage' and if it's not forthcoming, please don't persist, just let go.

8. The struggle of ruining and losing the friendship.

Other times, you let him know your intentions and he makes it clear it can't happen so you settle for being just friends with the hope that things might change in the future. The future comes, you make a second attempt and it's still the same thing, he doesn't want to be in a relationship with you. You can't persist because you might just lose the friendship and I bet you don't want that.

9. The struggle of dealing with awareness.

By awareness, I mean he's aware that you want him, and so are his friends and your mutuals. They make jokes about you being together and tease you both but you already know it won't happen because he just doesn't want you. This is one of the hardest because it makes every hang out awkward. Everyone is happy in pairs except you both. Usually, in no time, you lost touch and don't want to be around him or any of them anymore.

10. The struggle of a failed relationship.

If I could conduct a research on this, I would. As some guys won't turn you down if you shoot a shot, there's a high chance of a failed relationship after that. The relationship could fail due to so many factors, one of it being that he never really liked and respected you, he just wanted whatever you would bring to the table and jumped on the opportunity, your core values may differ greatly and compromise is not even an option. So dear, before you shoot that shot, take your time, read the lines, engage him, and see if it'll be worth it or you'll be in for a rough ride.

CrimeMan Stabbed His Babe To Death And Then Committed Suicide by Abaidaboss(op): 3:27am On Jun 23, 2020
The news of a Nigerian man stabbing his wife to death and then committing suicide by drinking sniper circulated the internet. It was reported that both of them were married and had just moved into Victory Park Estate in Lekki three weeks ago.

SOURCE: https://sequlsquid.com/he-stabbed-his-babe-to-death-and-then-committed-suicide/

Bala Elkana, a spokesperson to the Lagos state police, said their corpses were retrieved after the incident transpired on Sunday.

"I can confirm to you that it happened. We have moved the corpse of the man and that of his wife for autopsy. She was found in the pool of her own blood,” Elkana told TheCable Lifestyle.

“The kitchen knife used was recovered. And we also recovered two bottles of sniper which the man is suspected to have used because foams were also coming out of his mouth.

We gathered from a reliable source, a friend of the lady, who spoke in anonymity that both of them were never married. He claimed the guy was a cultist and was very abusive to the lady.

In a voice note he sent, he claimed that both of them were never married, and the lady got pregnant for the guy while she was studying at the University of Lagos. he further stated that they had planned for their introduction but the guy never showed up due to a slight misunderstanding he had with the lady prior to the set date.

Jokes Etc20 Things Nigerians Really Love And Are Passionate About by Abaidaboss(op): 9:09am On Jun 22, 2020
Regardless of the numerous challenges Nigerians face on a daily basis, you will always find Nigerians bubbling with energy, fun, enthusiasm, and maintaining a positive attitude. You will never find a dull moment with an average Nigerian. This makes you wonder what kind of species we really are. The passion spreads across various elements in Nigeria.

Here are 20 things Nigerians really love and are passionate about dearly.

Source: https://sequlsquid.com/20-things-nigerians-really-love-and-are-passionate-about/

1. Nigerians Love Nigeria

It's no longer news that Nigeria is a blessed and rich country. Rich in good food, rich culture, rich entertainment, natural resources, charming and cool atmosphere.

No matter the situation of the country, Nigerians will not stop loving Nigeria. Nigerians only hate the system and government policies. You just need to visit the airport during festive periods and behold thousands of Nigerians trooping into the country

2. Giveaways and Freebies

Nigerians love ‘Awoof (freebie)’. So much so that we are always looking for free browsing, free wifi, free credit, free money, free food, free date. Anything free, we love. That's why you see several Nigerian celebrities doing lots of giveaways on social media.

3. Travelling outside the country

There is a saying that "If you visit any country you do not find a Nigerian, you should leave" Meeeeen!!! Nigerians love travelling outside the country.

That feeling of "I just returned from abroad", is a feeling Nigerians love so much. They really don't care if it's South Africa of Malaysia, as long as they step out of this country, they are satisfied.

Good enough, No Nigerian wants to return back to the country broke. That's why Nigerians give everything it takes for them to succeed whenever they are opportune to leave the country

4. We are everywhere with the social network

Nigerians love to spend lots of time Facebooking, Instagramming, tweeting, snap chatting, you name it. We even fiddle with our phones even in the church, during meetings. Many Nigerians don't read or watch the news to know what's happening around them. One thing that also keeps us glued to our phone is fear of missing out

5. We love fashion

Nigerians love fashion. We love to look good, regardless of the maker of the fashion product. Whether aba made or Gucci or Chinese product or a roadside tailor. We don't care. We just want to look good and dope

Nigerians spend good money just to look good. If you will want to know how fashionable Nigerians are, all you need to do is visit any of our events.

You don’t want to be caught in a Nigerian social gathering not looking swagged up, you would be looking out of place. Ladies spend days deliberating on what to wear long before an event.

6. We love sports, especially football

Just like in every part of the world where sports bring a lot of fans, Nigerians are not an exception.  We love sports so much. These days, ladies are now getting involved. We see sports as a means of bonding together even with our enemies.

Super Eagles may not be meeting the expectation of Nigerians sometimes, but that has not stopped us from loving soccer. The premier league has become a god that is worshipped during the weekends.

For wives who have football fanatic husbands or kids, food shouldn’t be served neither should errands be initiated. Some of our men are so passionate about football that they can even fight for their clubs.

7. Owanbe (party) time

Nigerians love to party, party hard. No weekend passes by without party in Nigeria.  You can feel the vibe when you smell the weekend air in Nigeria.

Event centers cashing out week-in week-out. The colourful attires, the displays of local artistes or DJs, the settings, and the food bring thousands of Nigerians outside their homes for "Owanbe". This is a way to unwind after a stressful week in Nigeria. We simply love attending ‘Owanbe’ as the Yoruba people call it.

8. Nigerians are always excited about 'change'

Change excites us. We love change so much because we believe it will bring a ray of hope, or affect us or make us feel among or not left out of a trend or movement. We believe that every change would give us a ray of hope or affect us.

Regardless of the change, we are passionate to know how we can benefit from it.

This change could be seen in a new drink, new slangs, new fashion, new political leaders, new Super Eagle’s coach, even change from a bus conductor. We really love change.

9. Nigerians are VERY hardworking

Nigerians are no lazy youths. Most Nigerians have legitimate jobs and would rather die than get involved in criminal activities

10. We are crazy about cars

Nigerians love cars so much, especially the luxury and the latest models in town. We celebrate the arrival of our new cars like we celebrate the birth of a new baby.

We even celebrate a luxury car whenever it drives past us. We sometimes organize parties to celebrate the arrival of a brand new car. Of course, it mustn’t be brand new. Whether it is ‘tokunbo’ or new, a new car is a new car to us.

11. We are passionate about being successful

The major reason Nigerians work hard is because of our passion for success and making cash. Nigerians often care less about the nature of the job as long as the job is good enough to earn them enough money and make them successful.

It is in our genes to be successful and rich.

12) Sport betting

It's no wonder Bet9ja is the most visited Nigerian website, according to Alexa. Nigerians don't even mind betting against their favorite team and hoping they loose.

13. Music and dance make us go gaga

Nigerians will never have a shortage of dance till the end of time. From yahooze, to swo, to Alanta, to skelewu, to shoki, to zanku and so many other dance steps.

A a matter of fact, there is hardly a day Nigerians don't groove and trend to their favorite artists(s) on twitter.

14. We own the latest electronic gadgets, especially mobile phones

Nigerians love technology so much. We often replace an old model electronic gadget with the latest one. Some people even starve to get a new smartphone or the latest electronic gadget.

15. Holidays make us happy

This is a time to break free from work-related stress, school-related stress, and other stress that comes with being a Nigerian.

We always look forward to the next holiday, we cannot wait for it to come. We wish every day is a holiday

16. We don't joke with family

Blood is thicker than water. No matter how crazy our schedule is, we don't joke with 'blood'. We love our family so much. This is the best cult we can ever join because that is where we can be the kings and queens we may not be outside.

17. Education is our bedrock

Nigerians are very passionate about going to school, either formal or informal. This explains why Nigerians immigrants are the most educated Africans in the united states.

Getting admission into a tertiary institute is something that is held in high regard all over the country. We even sometimes go to church to share the testimony when we gain admission into a tertiary institution.

We push even those who do not like education to do anything around education.

18. We are 5 and 6 with religion

Most Nigerians believe we are the most religious people on the face of the earth. Just a peep from your compound, and you will see several religious places.

We do not play with our religious days and some extremists can even die for their religion.  We strongly believe in the existence of God

19. We love weddings

We are passionate about getting married and attending weddings. if as a non-Nigerian, you happen to be in the midst of Nigerians planning a wedding, you would think they are planning for the arrival of a great king.

The choice of 'aso-ebi', food, music, dance steps, and so on.

Attending a Nigerian wedding is always fun especially the reception.

20. We cannot erase our culture

Although technology is developing faster every day and the world gradually becoming a global village, many Nigerians sill celebrate their culture.

We may not be practicing these cultures in our modern towns and cities, but when it is time to exhibit our roots, we do that with pride and joy

1) Buy a black cat
Yes, You read that right. Nigerian’s associates’ cats with witches. Now imagine you have a black one, your neigbours would consider you the head of the witches and wizard of the whole community

2) Always wear a particular kinda outfit
This is also one good way to keep those annoying folks off your back, especially if the outfit is black on black. They won’t think you are a tech guy like Mark Zuckerberg or the late Steve Jobs, they would think you belong to a secret cult because of their superstitious mind(s)

3) Always wear dark shades
There’s a saying that “the eyes are the window to the soul.” Wearing dark shades means your “windows” are shut. They can’t access your soul, which leaves them wondering what kind of a human being you are.

4) Keep mute during compound meetings. Just smile
Always keep a straight face and be silent during compound meetings, even when you have something to say. Occasionally, just give them a wicked smile

5) Always keep late nights.
Go clubbing, hang out with friends, go sleep at your mom’s place then return home at midnight. You will be the center of discussion whenever they gather to gossip but no one will dare come say it to your face.

6) Do all five
Do all the five points highlighted above

Lagos is a very interesting city. While many newbies in Lagos find it difficult to settle in, Lagosians are used to the hustle and bustle of the city.

One unique thing about Lagos is TRAFFIC.

You can spend 4 hours in traffic from Ojodu to Victoria Island, less than the amount of time it will cost one to travel from Lagos to Ibadan. Here are the worst things that can ever happen to anyone in Lagos stuck in Lagos traffic

1) Your car breaking down
This is one worst thing that can happen to any individual. People will just be driving past you and staring at you like you are some plaque

Car Breakdown
2) Running stomach
Village people at work. Good if you are driving alone at least you can release some solemn gas and enjoy the atmosphere alone. Worse if you are on a commercial bus and seated at the far back seat.

3) Fuel tank empties when you have zero balance in your wallet
Sometimes, you assure yourself “the road will be free” so if you leave the office early, the remaining fuel will take you home. Boom! Traffic from nowhere. Now fuel tank is empty, no filling station close by, and you are broke AF

4) You bash a very expensive Car
Because you are Paul walker and want to overtake everybody, you drive like the road belongs to you. Now you have bashed a very fine Porsche and the owner is a soldier. O.Y.O

That talkative friend or ex spots your car in the traffic while waiting at a bus stop and offers himself/herself a ride without your consent. Just opens your door and enter just like that. Car rape!

6) Sitting beside someone with body odour/mouth odour
Destiny changing odour. Especially the bus conductor when he’s yelling at that stubborn passenger or raising his arm to collect money from passengers. This is the most horrifying thing that can happen to you. You need to empty one gallon of sanitizer in a bathtub and soak yourself in it when you get home.

7) Sitting beside someone who keeps adjusting in their seat
Sitting beside a dramatic person that keeps talking and adjusting in their seat

cool Rapture
No time to run to church to get down on your knees and beg God for forgiveness. Gbam. Just like that, hell straight!

CelebritiesNollywood Actor, Ibrahim Suleiman, Speaks About Career And Finding Love by Abaidaboss(op): 1:10pm On Jun 08, 2020
Q. What was your childhood like?

My childhood was interesting. I was raised by my Mom, along with my 2 younger siblings. Watching my mom make decisions everyday that put everyone into consideration helped me learn to be kind, compassionate, and hardworking. We were an average family but she made sure we got the best of all the basics, so we always felt loved and provided for.

b]
Q. You studied architecture and made a career out of dancing. What was your parents’ reaction to this decision?[/b]

My mother was always a huge fan of providing the basics (sound moral, spiritual and academic education, balanced social life, etc) and trusting that with all she had taught us, we would more often than not, do the right thing. So she was very supportive, and even attended some of my shows to watch me perform live on stage. As long as I had my degree(s), she was fine.

Q. There’s a good number of tags to your name, please tell us about that.
Lol the truth is, I just see myself as someone who likes to try out new forms of expression. Fortunately, people somehow find ways to pay me to express myself. So I do work as an Architect/Choreographer/Visual Artist/Voice Over Artiste/TV Presenter/Actor, etc.

It is a lot of fun, to be honest. And I am very grateful for all the opportunities I get.

Q. How do you find a balance to actively do these things?
The great thing about it is, not all of these opportunities are active at the same time. The most stable ones are Architecture, Acting, and Visual Art. The others pop up maybe once a month or even once a quarter.

Q. What was your acting career like before Tinsel?
I actually never acted a single scene in my life before I got in Tinsel. Tinsel was my first ever acting gig, and they knew this before signing me on. I will always be grateful to them for taking a chance on a total newbie.

Q. You’re popularly known as the ‘man in the box’ for MTN SMEs campaign. Please tell us about the experience.
That is probably the most fun project I’ve ever been involved in. I enjoyed every moment of it, and it opened my eyes to another dimension of advertising. It was phenomenal.

Q. Why are you also referred to as Quest?
I am a member of a faith-based, non-governmental youth organization called Youth With A Purpose (YWAP) we have a dance department called SoulQuest, and I served as it’s leader for 16 years, as “CaptainQuest”. So over time, people just referred to me as “Quest”

Q. You’re happily married to Linda, can you tell us how you met?
Linda and I met each other a number of times over a few years at events and stuff. We would always say hi and exchange brief pleasantries. But we struck up a friendship in December 2015 whilst working on a project together for a theatre production.

We remained very close friends until we became castmates on Tinsel in early 2017 and developed feelings from there. It was all very organic and simple.

Nothing stressful or forced. It happened very comfortably and I think that’s because we were both looking for true friendship and got true love as a bonus.

Q. Most challenging thing about being you?
I doubt myself too much. Which is why I am super grateful to my inner circle for always seeing me as better than I see myself.

Q. What should we expect to see from you in the coming years?
I’m working towards becoming a filmmaker. As a director. I also will be doing art exhibitions (solo and collaborative), Maybe I’ll even be hosting one of Africa’s biggest shows on tv too. I dey look God hand sha, We’ll see.

Q. Finally, describe yourself in three words
Creative, Loyal, Humane.
