Dint quite construct it right, I'm at work, & I had to type in a rush. But, if you truly know politics like you said, and Ekiti politics in particular, you would know what I mean is that the APC speaker was impeached by 7 PDP lawmakers despite the fact that Apc lawmakers were against it and they are 19. The 19 Apc lawmakers have since ran for their dear lives ever since because of treats to their life.

My attention has been drawn to a publication in a national newspaper where HRM Oba Riliwanu Akinolu was alleged to have threatened Igbos in Lagos to make them vote for Ambode.
Last Sunday, all honorary Eze Ndigbos in Lagos paid a courtesy call to HRM Oba Akinolu. At the meeting the visitors praised the Oba for his fatherly support for and cooperation with Igbos in. Lagos. They assured him of their continued good neighborliness with other tribes in Lagos and support everything that’ll further strengthen that harmony.
Oba Akiolu on his part acknowledged the enviable performance of Governor Fashola and his contribution to the growth of investments in Lagos. He gave the assurance that he is not disturbed or angry with South-East and South- South votes for President Jonathan as perceived by the Eze Ndigbos. The Obas thereafter called on the Igbos chiefs to show appreciation to Lagos State by supporting his candidate Mr. Ambode for continuity of excellence as they have earlier promised.
He assured them of his continued support‎ and assistance where needed and the meeting ended with the traditional breaking of kolas, alligator pepper, and bitter kola and pouring of liberation on the ground. It was within this context that that the tradition of Lagos with regard to the lagoon came up. It was noted that whoever works against the throne and the interest and peaceful co-existence of Lagos would end up in the lagoon as per tradition.

3. Oba Akiolu is the father of all irrespective of tribe, religion or political persuasion. In Lagos, we have an old traditional proverb that relates to the Lagoon. The Lagoon is unique to Lagos. I was watching the man on Channels this morning and one thing came to my mind. Did APC in all honesty expect that they were going to win in Akwa Ibom? And, why is PDP not crying fowl about other states that they are certainly going to loose and APC is doing that in places where it was clear they would loose even before Nigerians started voting?

One sad thing here is that, if INEC declares GEJ as the winner, these Northerners would take their frustration out on any one who is not of them. Forgetting that people from other regions too fought for Buhari.

However after the harassment (camera was batched and the camera recorder was broken,the cameraman assaulted), the crew latter with determination, and a call to IG, got to the collation center, nothing was happening there. No single report or ballox box was brought there.
The channels tv reporter even said that there are rumors that a party wants to rig, and that is why they are not commencing the collation.

After presidency, there is life, after life and affluence(here on earth), there is still another life. Jonathan should remember that.

Lagos is overhyped, yet thousands of people move day and night to Lagos. Why can't they go back to their states where every things seems to be working fine? I believe Fashola could have done more, but first lagos residents needs to he lawful. Lagos isn't for every body! Go to other state and establish yourself! It's not the only land of opportunity! Dont mind the OP. its just deciet. Iyana Ipaja roads are fine. Its just that because lagos is close to the ocean, its very rainny. And people despite all efforts and warnings from the State government, keeps blocking the good drainages built by the state government with cans and bottles of plastic beverages which are largely consumed by lagosians.

When the water resides and you see the road, you will see that the road is good. FASHOLA even built a nice bustop there for pedestriants which you can see in partly in that picture.
