fastgyal: I'm writing this from my own personal experience. Dear girls, don't just fall 'head over heels' for a guy without knowing the nature of his job or any of his close relatives.
There's this guy who's been inviting me over for quite sometime, we met at an event and exchanged contacts. I did that because he assisted me with something at that event. He calls me for about an hour or two every night. That was early this year.
When I asked about his nature of job, he said he was a contractor, he couldn't tell me which firm he works with. He stays at home 24/7 from Monday through Friday, weekends inclusive.
I finally agreed to go out with him sometime in February. This guy owns a Bentley and a Range Rover. Each time I try to bring up the issue of his job, he waives it off. The way he spent money on me and my friend that day was lavish and suspicious. I wasn't comfortable at all. He paid for my Uber ride to and fro. Spent about 80K at the exquisite restaurant just for food and drinks. We were three;Him, my friend And I. He uses two iPhones, one infinix hot4 and a smaller phone. I felt so much discomfort with him that day. Thank God my spirit never accepted him. that evening, he had a minor issue with his friend. I was listening to their conversation and I found out my guess was right. I had to cut up all ties with him after that day. abeg I can't be spending money whose source I know nothing about.
The second was a guy I loved, I won't lie. I met him at the mall and there was this kind of attraction. We flowed freely, got talking and all that. I won't say everything I witnessed at his place for personal reasons. I asked what he's been doing since he graduated, he said business. What kind of business? He replied; 'online business'
The day I visited him, his friends came over and for more than one hr, they were glued to their laptops, doing 'heaven knows what' and making calls to dupe victims. I also saw about 7 master keys for cars. I had no access to his FB account then. only whatsapp and IG.
When I checked his pictures on FB, I was trembling with all the things I saw. he's in a gang, probably a cult. Always wearing shirts with that devilish logo of a skull printed in it. Wearing all Black and all that.
And girls, please don't open your legs for any guy you've just met until you're very sure he's clean. I really loved this last one but although its hard to let go, I just have to. I'm not saying I'm a virgin, but I just don't open my legs for any one because he throws money at my face whatsoever. I'm being very plain here so girls can learn.
bamisepeters: Many men wonder why women are the largest part of any religious gathering not just in Nigeria but all around the world.
The truth is that many of them are so emotional than their male counterpart, this is why it take most of them time to get over break-up.
Religion is a way of life which must be taken emotionally or you get distracted easily, this is why it is so hard to convince a woman in love.
Because of this sincere emotion and passion the women have towards religious service they tend to respect the religious leaders more than their husband.
How many women will you see kneeling down to greet or serve their husband?
Whereas, they can even enter into the ground to greet a religious leader to show the level of respect.
Some women will appear to their religious leaders as saint when they just engaged in a duel of weapons with their husband.
Most women become actress at the sound of the voice of their religious leaders They assume their religious leader to be god that they worship, they view them as a completely perfect being forgetting that they are also human being and servant of which anyone can be called no matter the age or gender.
The funniest part is that women even respect the female religious leader who is of same gender with them than their husband.
This is one of the causes of marriage failure for some union.
We really need to change our orientation about the way we see some things.
I remember listening to one religious leader who said that you have given him poison when you respect him while you disrespect the man that tied the knot with you on the altar.
He said if you cannot kneel down for your man don't kneel for him as this is common among women.
Though we all pretend at different instances. Men too have their issues, like those who through their innocence you will have deduced they haven't known any woman even after 4 children.
The issue of discussion for this post is women, so we shouldn't delve. Please change this bias attitude.
Your husband is even more important than the religious leaders as they can aid your commitment to God faster than you can reach your spiritual leader.
Don't forget if they don't allow you there will be limit to the belief, don't let them to start cursing the religious leader when you do to them(the religious leader) what you lack with them(your husband) at home or even outside, God is a jealous God let alone human being His creation

ObiOmaMu: One Edet James Asuquo, have been arrested by the Cross River State Police Command for reportedly raping and infecting a 13-year-old girl with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
The State's Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, while speaking to newsmen disclosed that Edet has been charged to court.
It was gathered that Edet confessed that he was aware of his HIV status, and had vowed to spread the virus as much as he could.
Inuwa disclosed that the girl was confirmed HIV positive after a routine medical test.
The police commissioner, who briefed journalists on the achievements on the state police command in the last two weeks, said during the period under review a total of 25 suspects were arrested for various offences ranging from armed robbery, attempted murder, assault on police officers, possession of fake currencies and unlawful possession of fire arms, among others.
Items recovered included five AK 47 rifles, seven magazines and 200 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, four locally made pistols, one locally made single barrel gun, one battle axe, eight live cartridges, one Mercedes Benz truck with registration number DAL 222 XA loaded with suspected stolen wheat and N380, 000 cash.
redbeans: The cost of living in this country is becoming tougher as the days and months go by. As a private school teacher [like myself], 80 percent of employees do not get up to the minimum wage. Yet we supply skilled labour.
Immediately I am paid, I have some fixed bills to settle. This ranges from clothing, food [with sky-rocket prices], accommodation, assistance of relations amongst others. Little or nothing is left after the first week for emergency purposes.
Other workers who earn within this category are also not left out. Those of us in search of financial breakthrough will need some tips on how to 'keep going' from the experts here.
olaparodi: We are all aware of the recommendation by the Senate Committee on Works to increase the pump price of petrol from N145 to N150 per litre for the implementation of the proposed National Roads Fund (NRF). Note that it's for the maintenance of federal roads only.
Listed below are some reasons why the plan is nonsensical, lazy, and shallow - by olaparodi@gmail.com
1. The planned increase is coming one year after the present govenment increased fuel price from N87 to N145 per litre! Haba! Una wan kill Nigerians?
2. Those who spend more time in traffic will pay more. And it doesn't necessarily mean they will spend the additional time on federal roads. A good example is if you spend 2 hours in traffic inside Lagos. Na wa o.
3. Many buyers of petrol and diesel do so to fuel their generators. Why should this set of people pay extra N5 per litre for fuel? Wetin concern generators and maintenance of roads?
4. Many road users who buy petrol or diesel don't use or hardly drive on federal roads. A good example? 'Okada' riders or local cabs. Ah, I almost forgot those living in villages or towns without any 'federal road' presence.
5. Petrol is already too expensive at N145 per litre. Why are the senators not in a hurry to first make local refineries work? This would lower prices and provide more jobs and revenue for the government.
6. What would be the formular to spend the revenue generated on the federal roads in each state? Will it be based on the amount generated from each state? Or land mass? Or population? Even if you're able to magically determine the amount generated from each state (I don't know how they can generate reliable figures), the number of federal roads in the state which generates the highest revenue may not be the same or in the same condition as that of state(s) with lower revenues. Magomago go start again o. I can hear echoes of marginalization already.
7. From available evidence, the funds won't be fairly and equitably utilised. You don't agree? Look at the condition of Lagos ports and you won't believe that those ports generate huge revenues for the FG. What of VAT revenue? How is it being distributed? The injustice will continue.
8. Federal Government should reduce its presence in maintaining national assets like federal roads. It should handover existing roads to the states where they are located. Or use PPP (Public Private Partnership) to run them. Trying to run the states from the already over-burdened Federal Government is inefficient and should stop.
For example, Cross River state is planning a 260-kilometre highway and there is no plan to rely on such petrol tax for its maintenance.
9. The existing federal roads should be maintained by revenues from electronically-controlled toll gates. If you don't want to pay the toll, then don't use the road(s).
10. Increasing petrol price will increase inflation rate and worsen the suffering of the people. Don't forget that over 30 states are owing salaries and millions are unemployed.
11. What is the Federal Government's plan to fund federal roads in the yet to be signed 2017 budget? Why is the Senate trying to increase the hardship of the people when there is already an Appropriation Bill?
12. What exactly is the Senate's sacrifice to increase the revenue of the government? Why are they always interested in punishing the suffering masses? The National Assembly budget for 2017 is N125 billion!!! A reduction of 10% in the budget will yield N12.5billion! The Senators continue to live large and the masses are living in poverty. Shame!
13. The new plan is not in tune with current global developments in the auto industry. Petrol-driven cars are gradually going into extinction. What were the senators thinking? Many auto manufacturers already have plans to release electric cars.
14. The new plan shows that Nigeria is still lazily fixated on petrol or crude oil as its main revenue source. Diversify! Look elsewhere! Think of better ideas! Petrol is dying...wake up now!
15. It's surprising that the Nigerian Senate is not bothered about the calls by Nigerians to unleash the potentials of the country by urgently restructuring the polity, or by the rot in the Police, poor education standard, price hike of everything, worsening unemployment, or the surge in crime. The only thing they could think of is a Roads Fund which revenue will be looted like others before it.
16. What system is in place to ensure that the revenue from the price hike will not be looted? I'm not aware of any. What is happening to revenue from Stamp Duty charge being collected from Nigerians? Hmmm...
Nigerians, forward and circulate this before it's too late. Enough is enough!

We hear and read about stories or have witnessed women being violent if the situation was reversed.... and this is justified because they a women why? Men if put in this situations listed above how will you handle it ... Over to you ...
P.S When two couples are in a relationship violence from either male or female .. should not be condoned ...it is just plain wrong ! Any form of domestic violence should be reported .
Simbrave: I own an ORIGINAL Infinix Hot 4 and after Saturday's incident of exploding Hot 4, I sought out to have a feel of the fake Hot 4 so as to point out the difference between both phones.
On the hardware side, the first visible difference is the front camera. The Original Hot 4 has it front camera located on the top left while it is found on the top right corners on the fake. Secondly, the charging port is at the bottom left of the Original Hot 4 while it is at the top centre on the fake.
Coming to the Software aspect, a noticeable difference can be seen with the UI on both phones. When you are on LockScreen mode with the fake phone, you will notice the fingerprint/lock screen icon in between the Call Key and Camera Icon at the bottom of the screen while there is an absence of fingerprint/Lock Screen Icon on the Original phone. Camera mode wise, the Original phone has the Gallery Icon, Shutter Icon and Video Icon at the bottom of the screen while on the fake, you only have Camera icon at the middle bottom of the screen.
I also found out that when you connect the Original Phone to the system, you get the Name of the Device has Infinix Hot 4 whereas if it is fake, names like Phatom6, OLIVER, HINTOM are what the computer will display. I will advise anyone who wants to purchase this phone to buy from Infinix authorised dealers so as not to fall victim of this fake device.
