Bill Gates is a Democrat who gives to both parties but most of his givings goes to Democratic social courses and he has said some unflattering things about Trampy. What happens is that some people give to both parties candidates on individual level. I once voted for a Republican governor in my State by name George Ryan that I really liked against a Democratic nominee. George Ryan ended up in jail for nepotism.
