I find it difficult to understand what the two posters above refering to Yoruba speaking 'Yoruba Yoruba neither could I comprehnd the import of the messages coming from their dirty and biased mind against the most respected, highly hospitable and peace loving ethnic/tribe in Nigeria. Could you pls come out in clear terms what are your problems with Yoruba speaking the mother tongue thereby preserving the native language from extinction like your own. |
Some guy could be heartless. After serious bleeping with the woman, he ended up cutting her head. For what? Obviously for ritual money so as to get Ijebu money to oppress and possibly catch another woman for continuity. I pity women who cannot hold up their kitty. |
Azazi has spoken, whether out of context or inside content, there is an iota of truth. PDP has always being enemy to itself, infact the only vibrant opposition party we have in this country against PDP govt is PDP. That's why they could not make a tangle success as a govt, on the lives of Nigerians cos they work at cross purposes. But what baffles me is that each differing groups or factions cannot move out and stand alone as a party or better still join another one, they prefer to stay put under the overcrowded umbrella. |
It is unfortunate that Public Health Department in LGs are no longer functioning. This is the department that was saddled with the responsibilities of seeing to the safety and hygenic state of our food and drinks as to preparation, vending and storage. Many agencies like this are either moribound or ineffective due to govt neglect. The 'wolewoles' and veterinaries, these days are more of a revenue department in LGs, they are only after how much they can rake in daily for themselves. They no longer care even if you cook and dine by the soak away of the public latrines. |
occam: A Nigerian med professional asserted that people have developed immunity against germs, so this practice is not a big deal as I claimed. I simply smiled and walked away; wasn't in the mood to argue. You may call Yorubas any name your myopic brain imagined, all we care is, it was the most honourable thing to do then, a task to keep Nigeria one. It may please you to know that our fathers sacrificed much to gain the independence, what they put in the project called Nigeria is far more than any region (check your history). Any sensible man will always safeguard his investment. As it was then, so shall it be now, be informed that Yorubas will never support any disgruntled region who want to cause another havoc in this nation. No regret, no crocodile tears or apology coming from us. |
