The autonomy is just for the collection of the allocations, not for the spending of the allocations. Each parish will still pay tithes to the headquarter.

I support local government autonomy. But the new policy will not achieve the autonomy. Remember that the elections will be conducted by state INEC, not the main INEC. With this, governors will make their puppets LGA chairmen and decide how those chairmen spend the federal allocations.

If you think the chairmen can decide to disobey the governors, think of how many LGA chairmen that are clean enough to boldly and successfully disobey their political godfathers. Remember that the puppets selected as LGA chairmen are the ones with rotten profiles that can be used to blackmail and silence those chairmen when those chairmen prove stubborn.

If we're to use emotions, both of them are members but if we're to use our head and legal, they're not until proving otherwise with a strong defence in court.

Well, he was not present at the court when he was needed and claimed some people attacked his house reason he flew and hid until he was rearrested in Kenya or so... All these are just an excuse and do not hold water in the court of law.

He was not illegally detained but under trial.

The last time he was released on bail, he jumped bail before he was rearrested and I believe that's what the government is guiding against... They don't want some army to attack him again and use that excuse to run away.

As much as I love the call out, the lady is one of the Nigerians who knew what to do but did not know the right direction.

Imagine her calling the President on a matter that should not concern even the Governor but the local government chairman of the area.

They are not trying to get justice; all your government has done to date has been to illegally detain a Nigerian citizen, against the Nigerian Constitution.

According to the document in circulation, Nnamdi Kanu was indeed illegally detained against court rule for just some days until supreme court rule against him and that was during Buhari's tenure. But right now, he was legally detained.

I don't have anything against him or anyone, I just prefer he get the right justice than pardon and be subjected to the government tools.

Nnamdi Kanu should not be released on pardon, but fast-track the court judgment to determine if he's guilty or not.
