lamba lamb: I just grad dis year. the reason why dey dnt colloect fresh result is because dey normally do the last screening in 300level for a 4yrs course and they will require certificate be it waec or whatever o level u use which might not be ready as at the time.

waec certificate takes arnd 2/3 yrs to be issued. And they collect scratch card to confirm ur result if ur cert is nt yt out. The only reason i asked is dt they started releasing d admission list b4 d result came out wch wasnt d norm

how much did those dt had their course changed pay?

the days when unilorin's merit list actually contain only merit students are long gone.sum1 dt got 161 in jamb got admitted into medicine in 2006 while i got 267 and wasnt admitted. Anybody who did d postjamb dt year wil knw it was rubbish. In 2008 i got 273 in jamb and 76 in post jamb but wasnt on any list for accounting, bt a person wt just 206 and 53 was given admission into d same course on d merit list{she later crashed out}.i was admitted a year later and since i've seen dt unless u knw pple, u had better be very prayerful. A cousin of mine made d law merit list in 2010 wt 223 and 55,{sorry, i forgot he boosted his chances by dropping a letter from a SAN, so if u knw one...}
dt doesnt mean dt some pple do nt make it wtout connections though, 4 of our top students in my level are on d merit list and chose unilorin as 2nd choice. So be prayerful and u'll all smile into unilorin ds year. Ur hopes will not be quashed by d special grace of God. Peace

i just called one of my lecturers who is a Prof in d skul. He said he's hearing d info too but to his knowledge, the list is not from d skul. They just finished wt d final year students stuff. I guess its nw wait and see

The earth is not unique. There are millions{perhaps billions} of planet dt can support life as we knw it. U cant base God existence on scientific laws of nature. It is already embodied in another religion: Scientology.

Most of us practice d religion of our parents. Very rarely do we change. But which is do true religion?
A person born in israel wil lykly be a jew while those born in india wil lykly practice hinduism. Religions abound in d world: islam, christianity, hinduism, judaism,buddhism etc. Of all these, most nigerians wil say dt d authentic religions are islam and christianity but is dis view true?
Of d world's more than 6billion population, only 2.2billion practices islam and christianity. Does ds mean dt than 2/3 of d world are going to perish?
Coming to islam and christianity, if u read d works of islamic critics lyk G.O Moshay's "who is this Allah", u'll say dt any1 who claims to be a muslim must be mad. However when u read d works of bible critis esp Ahmed Deedat, u'll swear never to touch xtianity with a long pole. If ds religion can be so attacked, how can one be sure he's observin d true religion?
The concept of whether there is God or not is moot. Though almost everything can be explained by science including d origin and creation of our universe, they've never been able to explain while a human being can transform into a lower animal or how our local{yoruba} herbalist can stab a picture in ibadan and the person in d picture dies in d UK. On this alone, i stand to be corrected that there must be a force regulating the extraterrstial powers that transcends science. But whether this God is to be worshipped tru d tenets of islam, xtianity,judaism,and a thousand and one other religions we knw of or another means entirely is beyond me.
But when i think of the fact that making a mistake of how to worship ds God may mean eternal condemnation, u'll agree with me that choosing a religion is indeed the greatest and most dangerous gamble.
