Hi alphadoor, does it mean ITA isn't sure with 1 year experience for visa 489? See my case below:

age --- 30 points
qualification-- 15points
English---10 points
work experience --- 0 point
occupation--- Architect

To answer you:
Your transcript content and duration of degree is the determinant of whether ACS will awarded you 10 or 15 point.
I see you also have limited experience, therefore you cant claim points for that, this is currently a major set back because the game is different (tougher) now
20 points in English is a must.

In general, your current profile is leaning towards visa 489 which is equally not gonna be easy without exp point but not impossible..

Do you have a partner? wife/fiancee

I will advise you look towards Canada also.

Since there are other evidence to prove employment, the person should be fine. Let the person include the statement of account to strengthen financial status grounds.

Hello house, What does one do if personal statement of account doesn't show salaries received from office. Salaries are always in cash. Can we still go ahead and submit the statement like that? The person is claiming employment and has employment letter,reference letter and payslip already.

please gurus here, I apply for Dubai working visa tru a Frd in Dubai , he called me now that my appointment letter will be out tomorrow and It will be sent to my mail to print that after I print I will have to thump print on the copy I printed out with normal thump printing ink.... he said after that I will scan the thump printing copy back to him, then after 3-4 working days another letter will be sent to me that I will take to Abuja and do my boimetric, medical, thereafter the visa will be sent to me.... please can someone shead more light to this please.... thanks in anticipation

you have to show relationship and give good reason why the company will want to sponsor you.....its not all about account statement its easy if the company is owned by his mum or dad that has paid his scholl fees undergrad before

Absolutely you can. VFS Lagos’ somewhat antiquated Lagos Instruction manual actually discourages the paying of school fees before applying for visa. They are right!! I saw someone pay for their entire fees before applying for visa and yet insufficient funds was checked against them as reason for refusal. Go figure! Yes you can go ahead and apply for your visa. You should be fine with financicial docs showing sufficient funds. If CIC wants you to pay, they will inform you. Best wishes!!

I’m just a mail away. However, for that your occupation, ekkazreaction will be in the best position to help. He just lodged his assessment with VETASSESS on the same occupation. I think his handle is prettysussie or so...not sure.

Was your first degree in Civil/Building/construction? if yes, then you have a good chance. Architects who have CPM roles are considered on case by case basis according to Vetassess. Why not align your roles to that of Landscape Architect (Code:232112), my suggestion anyway.

1. On vetasses' website, they have list of documents required for employment evidence. I cannot advice you against their requirements.

2. Same answer as 1

3. If Vetasses assess your qualification to be equivalent to AQF Bachelor, you will get your 15 points irrespective of what the occupation requires.

It is eligible for both 190 and 489.

The best place to confirm eligibility of occupations is DIBP website by navigating to the occupation lists especially the legislative instrument.

The list doesn't state Architectural Draftsperson is ineligible for 190 or 489.

I'm about to go for vetassess assessment as architectural draftsperson but these two attached pictures are getting me a little confused. The occupation is marked as not eligible under visa subclass 489 and yet sponsored by Tasmania in the state eligibility summary table. Help please!!
