1a. No it can't prevent you from getting positive outcome. depending on the assessing body, AACA don't require experience at all while Vetassess requires minimum of 1 year.
1b. Yes your service year can add to overall experience once it's related to your B.Sc/nominated occupation.

2. You can use your bank statement or go to tax office to pay up

3. Please go for architectural draftsperson

4. No they don't but i think you'll have to tell then how much you have even though you won't be required to provide proof.

LJ91:
Hello everyone..
I'm an Architect, 28 years old with my BSc and MSc in Architecture from a federal university. I intend to apply for Australia's PRV. I have some questions I need help with please.
1a. I have less than 5 years of experience. Can it prevent me from getting a positive assessment from the relevant body? 1b. Can my service year be added to my overall experience during application?
2. I have evidence to show for my experience but I don't know how to address the issue of Proof of Tax Payment.
3. Architect or Architectural Draughtperson, which do you suggest I pick for an easier process?
4. Lastly, Do Australian authorities require Proof of Funds before issuing grants?
Thank you..

@Lauyi, B tech will not fly with AACA, they will give a not suitable response. If you have a masters degree, you can give it a try. Alternatively, you can assess as architectural draftsperson with Vetassess. Regards

Lauyi:
Good morning abby2443, Bellong and other gurus in the house, pls can a B TECH Architecture (5 years programme) fly with Architecture Association Council of Australia (AACA).
Nice work you guys are doing here.
Thanks.

Hello great minds, please i need help. AACA has asked that i provide an address in Australia where they can send my assessment outcome letter to since i can't receive the one they sent to Nigeria for like a month now. Please i need someone who can receive this letter for me and then scan it to me. Please note that AACA does not post assessment outcome by email hence, the reason for the whole stress. Thanks in anticipation.

My email is platinumdrawingz@gmail.com for anybody willing to help.

Well, i do not have anything to drag with you, God bless you for me. However, my car is not a V6, it's a 4 plug and it's working extremely fine. I have been driving it myself on uber/taxify for over 6months. I currently got a project that will take me far away from Lagos and I've decided to give it out to a driver. You came to my inbox to claim right and i never responded to your messages and yet you come here to tarnish my image. Like i said earlier, may God reward you according to the work of your hand. Cheers!

Thank you sir. Only Tasmania is sponsoring draftsperson for now which is more reason I have decided to go with AACA. All the same, I'd still like to get in touch with the architect. My email is platinumdrawingz@gmail.com. Regards

@abby2443,

The architect I know assessed as a Draftsperson with VETASSES.

Oga bellong, greetings from this side too. Please do you know any architect that went through AACA? Kindly link me up if possible. Just need some reviews to be done as early as possible. This year must not pass me by again. Thanks in anticipation.

bellong:
Hello bro,

I guess you should continue with the Canada process. Australia has limited occupations for the migration process.

The only occupation that is still being sponsored that I can link with yours is customer service manager. Every other related occupation is not sponsored by any state.

You can either pursue the customer service manager or ICT business Analyst, if that is what you did. However, for the ICT business analyst, you need at least 5yrs experience in lieu of qualification.

I am unsure if EA will accept a CDR from you based on final year project given that you left school long ago.

I am sorry, I am not able to provide any positive feedback for your situation. Goodluck.

I am more of AACA than vetassess... But with the little knowledge i have as per vetassess, you have to carefully study the requirements before submitting your application. More attention should be paid to his job description as this has to align with anzsco code for architectural draftsperson. Please make sure he has at least one year related experience in an archy firm or construction company as this will play a major role. Lastly, kindly refer him to this thread so he can read up too and equip himself with vital information.
For vetassess. https://www.vetassess.com.au
For AACA. https://www.aaca.org.au

Sir pls may be i am wrong. i went through Skills Assessment for Migration using this site https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration. I assumed that to be the first step before proceeding. please direct
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by abby2443: 6:10pm On Nov 06, 2018
You mean he did the assessment in less than 48hours?

Viola2017:
Good day sir, my husband just did his assessment as an ARCHITECTURAL DRAFT PERSON via VETASSESS but it turned out to be negative. please what do you suggest.
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by abby2443: 8:46am On Nov 05, 2018
@Viola2017

His 4years B.Sc will not fly with AACA but like i mentioned earlier if he has at least one year experience in any archy firm or as a draftsman in any company he should be fine with vetassess.

As regards your second question.. No, you can decide to switch your discipline once you get there, no penalty for that.

With respect to the third, I'll like to leave that for the accountants in the house. Regards
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by abby2443: 11:08pm On Nov 04, 2018
Hi, if he did 4/5years B.Sc plus two years masters, he can go for AACA (architect accrediatation council of Australia) assessment, they don't require work experience, please visit their website for details OR if he has worked in an architectural firm or as a draftsman in any other company before, he can assess as architectural draftsperson with vetassess. All the best.

Viola2017:

lol u get mind... My rider bursted into laughter when i showed him the 500. He asked me to let him know the outcome of the fare review so he can know what to do.I hope taxify is like uber where you're sure of getting your money anytime.

protocol:
Hahaha. I picked a rider from Osborn, very difficult woman so I checked my fare as I was ascending 3rd mainland and it was still 400 naira, I told her and she said she doesn't know what I was talking about.hmmm. got to the middle of third mainland and stopped her in the middle of the road and put my hazard light. Very rich difficult woman. One of those who wants to ride to Ikeja for 600 naira. I left the car to watch the ocean. The son later transfered 3k b4 I left that spot. All she was saying in her language was werry ni werry ni. Me do I hear that one?
Always check ur fare and if u notice it has not been increasing pls stop the ride and negotiate.
Most Riders are soooo wicked.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by abby2443: 5:49am On Nov 04, 2018
It's a card trip. Actually i checked the fare during trip and it was the same 500 but what could i have done? grin

Gentlelife50:
Cash trip? If cash just keep praying they do something.
If it's card your the possibility of getting your money is there.
But why don't you check your fare during the trip to avoid stories?

Yes, nice for paying for my ignorance. I do not have any problem with the rider, she was kind enough. I can only say Taxify should also be able to handle this automatically but all the same, i have learnt my lesson.

Tgiirl:
What did she do? She requested using a card. That's never a fraudulent act. And it was never the rider's fault.

The driver is new to the system, and his phone network disconnected or GPS miscalculated.

Therefore, Taxify had already provide a solution to counter that issue which the driver failed to use: Price review.

The rider is clean ( she didn't nothing) and nice ( paying for the drivers ignorance)

Gbam!

Gentlelife50:
She knows what she did, she wasn't on any promo. But at least she somehow atoned for her sins.
So next time be careful
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by abby2443: 7:47pm On Oct 15, 2018
Thanks everyone.. Taxify said they cannot do anything since i didn't do fare review but the babe took me offline back to ikeja and also gave me extra to cover for my loss...Now I'm happy lol

ifyeez:
She's not on any Promo, that's how they lie to drivers, that's a failed GPS trip, he should ve done a price review immediately after the trip.
If you know you knw.
