The answer is no. It is a gradual and continuous process.

All economies that are dependent on oil and gas are experiencing the same.

But with out situation today is our import not far greater than export? You gave basics reason in macro economics for the devaluation of currency. Our major export is rhe oil which the price has plummeted world wide. The Naira has to be devalues to stabilise the economy. This aims at discouraging import. Talking about the depletion in our foreign reserve, the value of money is the use of that money. Keeping a fight foreign reserve without any use does not benefit us. The government had to make use of the money to provide us basic things we need as a nation. Thank you.

From the way you sound, I wouldn't mind asking you for your certificate. The fall in Naira value against the dollar is as a result of the fall in the price of the oil which our economy depends. It applies to all nations that export oil including Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Russia, Iraq etc. It is not a peculiar issue to Nigeria. The Naira has to be devalued to discourage import and stabilise the economy. Olodo, you don hear? Get a good knowlesge of macro economy before you pass a comment lest you act like Buhari who said he would stabilise the price of oil of elected.

I am not pro GEJ but if we have to be dispassionate, is it GEJ's fault that the price of oil has plummeted and continued heading south for an indeterminate period? Answer this question frankly. I always bow to superior argument, trust me.

The truth juz came out now. The officials of INEC says they are not taking both ex-copers and students/workers. According to the stat the woman who happens to be the head here said. She says they hav 2700 people that came for the training in which 900 are corpers. So the game the woman is trying to play wit us now is that, she will use only copers which are more than enough, coz they wanna take juz 700 adhoc staff.

U were lucky cos I think they had a stipulated number they HAD DECIDED to pay. I was number 117 on Friday's list and The man (Sodiq) stopped at number 61 and said the money had been exhausted. The list had up to 450. I will be there tomorrow to see what they would say to the press.
