Northern Christian Leaders have endorsed General Muhammadu Buhari for the March 2015 presidential elections, saying what Nigeria needs now is a leader that can protect both Christians and Muslims and do justice to all.

This was at a meeting of Christian leaders from around the north of the country, which was convened at the instance of the Northern Christian Leaders’ Eagle-Eyes Forum in Abuja to preach the message of peace in the run up to the 2015 elections.

The leaders of the forum said that the persistent misconception of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, as a fanatic is misleading, saying Nigeria needs a leader like him to do justice to all, irrespective of religion.

The Convener of the forum, Solomon Dalung and the Chairman of the Northern Christian Leaders Forum, Aminchi Habu, who both took turns to speak, told the opposition candidates that Nigeria is at a crossroads and experiencing hard times that only people of strong character and minds can correct these.

They charged both men to ensure that only issues that promote the unity of Nigeria are brought to the front burner while religious discrimination takes a back seat.

The presidential and vice presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) told the northern Christian leaders that the upcoming election is not about religion but the future of Nigeria.

General Buhari said that the persistent division of the electioneering along religious lines and sentiments has become a cause of great irritation.

They warned the Christian leaders to avoid being misled into believing the elections is about religion.

Key among the issues addressed by General Buhari and his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo were security, corruption and poverty.

Went 2 DSA yesterday and I met d woman in Rm9. I asked ha abt d mobilisatn list and dt I wana confirm if ma name s dia BUT d woman directed me 2 sum list pasted outside 2 check if ma name s dia and I went bk 2 ha dt it wasn't dia and she told me to go register wen d registratn commences dt it s only dos stdnts dt had one prob(rangin 4rm phone numba, jamb registratn numba) dt dia name was pasted!

And mesef didn't rememba wen I gave dm any numba! It s only dos stndts dt dy cnt find dia numba(mayb on dia eportal bio-data or faculty). So noordean nurture no fear! If u wa admitted thru JAMB and nt by Pre-Degree or DE, ceteris paribus, u dnt av any prob!

Hello nordeen, damola and other OAU people here.
I was at the DSA this morning to get updates on the NYSC processing. The woman in room 9 told me that the list is being compiled and that those who were asked to come for emendation still have the opportunity to do so before the list is sent. Some names are pasted on the notice board there. I wrote down my name, matric no, jamb no, dept on a paper so she can help me corrobate them with what they intend sending to NYSC. As you know, any mistake made now will lead to not being mobilised. I will going back in the morning to confirm if she has done the validation for me. She is quite a nice woman and very approachable.
If you are quite close to school or have any one around here, my advice is for you to send your details to that person and ask him to help crosscheck at room 9 DSA.
