The scourge of undiagnosed mental health problems. Last week it was someone sleeping with 100 men; this week someone is planning to go for 1000 men in a day. Look at this one now. These people deserve sympathy not curses. Being so sick that you're convinced that nothing is wrong with you is something to be pitied. Please, next time, tell them sorry if you encounter them. They are not well. |

PsaIm:Baba, all those tubes in his mouth and nose are for what exactly o? They should shaa not look for his relatives, that's what you people want |
ChiefOloye:How far, chief. They should not look for his relatives at all, ba? O ga o, chief. His wife should just continue crying at home because he's getting free treatment. Chief, chief |
adionin:Oshey, agba detective! Surely, you know they've checked for all that and they've asked the people who were around and they've probably involved the police |
All the well-intentioned but ultimately bad advise and the flood of horrible advise... Na wa o! I guess everyone is trying to help in their own ways, based on their own experiences in life. Reality is that marriages and relationships are a lot more complicated than she's a witch or he's a bastard. I don't know enough to be able to tell you what's best to do. If you can afford it, go and speak with a therapist. You have a lot to say, I can tell, so go and say it. In the mean time, being in a different location, especially somewhere closer to the natural environment does wonders for the mind; allows you to think more clearly. Even something as simple as taking a walk in the morning and/or evenings isn't to be dismissed. Locking yourself away may be harmful, especially with the suicidal thoughts already creeping in. If you can't be with friends, spend time around people. Eat in a restaurant, and just let yourself breathe again. I cannot stress enough the importance of getting someone, professional or not, to speak with. Those thoughts swirling around in your head are good for your healing, but only as far as you have a healthy means of expressing them. Unexpressed, they will pretty much kill you. Reading a book is good, if your mind can settle enough to focus on it Finally, cast your mind back to a time when you never met her. There's a much younger you in there, buried under all these layers of hurt. This is mental work that is best done with the guidance of a therapist, but if you can try... why not. Sit, control your breathing, close your eyes and slowly cut through the noise till you've taken yourself back to an older, much happier you. Sit with it for a while, for as long as you can. It helps remind you of who you really are, beyond the you of today who is wrapped up in grief and unable to see past their shadow. Good luck. Again. go and see a therapist if you can afford it |
FutureFocus:I just read the whole drama and I can't help but wonder if you planned all of this because as you said it is only working to boost your sales. I've never bought from you but after reading all that I suddenly want to buy this bluetooth mouse that I don't really need. I understand your position about posting prices but it may cause some inconvenience sometimes (though I guess that may just be a small price to pay for peace). I'm not looking for a bluetooth mouse but if you have RGB wireless mouse and keyboard that's not pricey I may very well pin it for later. As for your attackers, I know one must hear both sides of the story very well, but perhaps there's some truth to their stories, well at least to their emotions. It is possible that your responses cause more emotional anguish for them than you intended. I really don't know. But if it's possible, I think you may still look into it on your own. Nobody is perfect; we learn from kings and fools alike. Take it easy. Keep my RGB bluetooth mouse and keyboard for me. When I have money I'll come and disturb you very well. |
PEACE2023:I don't even have the words. Have a good night sir. Pless sleep very well. I think you need it |
The face of evil is not black or white, it's just plain evil. Whether it's racism or sexual predators or armed robbers, we are capable of such terrible things. I wouldn't be surorosurprised if at least half of those men truly believe themselves good decent people. |
This will be funny. We are going to expect parents to send their children to med schools that are double, triple or more the cost of govt schools, yet we'll expect those kids to graduate and earn 300k. Funny country |
I'm sorry for all of us. We've normalised extra marital affairs but we come here pretending we're shocked when we it's time to deal with the consequences. Let me guess: you support him cos she's a lying bitch but you don't mind if this same man slept with multiple girls before he met her. Rather than sit down and quietly reason about how we've found ourselves here as a society, you're here playing hard guy. What happens to the child when he automatically throws her out? Yes naw, hard guy. Not your concern. Don't worry, that sense that you're running from it'll eventually get you |
Dear "Average" Muslim, Alhamdulillah that you are a muslim. I am not a scholar or anything close, but let's tell each other the truth. If you and I had some super power of absolute correctness there wouldn't have been need for the prophets or the religion. We submit as muslims to the superiority of the knowledge, and will of our creator. I repeat, as an average muslim, you are saying that you are not perfect in your practice but you at least acknowledge that your creator is one God and that the entirety of what you think you know is less than a drop in the ocean in comparison to the knowledge of the one who created and fashioned you. If you disagree with these things, you may want to reconsider this whole "I am a muslim" business. If you think your knowledge and understanding superior to your creator or to his prophet, again, you may want to reconsider this whole muslim thing you have going on. Allah does not require your statements about being a muslim, only your intentions and actions. I see many of us coming out strongly to talk about how their father was this, or their childhood was that... Both you and your father will answer to Allah. Allah will not excuse you because of willful ignorance. Please read the Qur'an again sometime and remind yourself of the various reasons the people of Hell found themselves in that position; it rhymes with: this was what we found our fathers doing May Allah guide us unto the right path. None of us is inherently better than the others, only by the grace of Allah and his blessings on the sincere steps that we take towards him. Please don't advertise and celebrate your own ignorance. We are all ignorant about one thing or the other, but the wisest of us is the one who knows what he doesn't know and doesn't expose his own ignorance but quietly improves himself. Allah does not have a son. Allah does not have a son. The charge of the christians against Allah is so great, but very few of us truly understand the magnanimity of it. You cannot celebrate the christian's belief that your lord has a son. You may not be able to change them, but you certainly cannot be contended to join them in celebration. The analogy of what we do is like the son whose mother was raped and the rapist remained unpunished and unrepentant. The mother has accepted her fate and has compelled her children to let it go and not make war. Every year the rapist comes out to celebrate the anniversary of his actions, and the mother stays indoor finding comfort in the presence of her children and that gives her the strength to resist the taunts of that day. She always tells her children to temper their anger and not make war. After a few years the children have forgotten what the rapist did; they join the drumming and dancing and merrying with no sense of what they're dancing about. They're completely enchanted by the festivities. Their mother watches in horror as her own children dance with her oppressor. We, as muslims, have lost sight of why the Christians are not muslims, however close they seem to us, and however good we must be to them as neighbors. They are not the enemy in that you should despise them but certainly their religion is theirs and we should make it clear that ours is Islam. Jesus is a prophet of Allah, he wasn't born on christmas, and he wasn't killed on the cross. It's okay not to make war but that's not to say we should go dancing with them in the streets May Allah guide us all towards him, and forgive our shortcomings. Remember, don't celebrate your own ignorance. Alsalamaleikum from another average muslim |
DeathToRiggers:1. It shall never be well with Tinubu... - You cannot accurately predict the future unless you're the one in control of it. The statement is therefore untrue. Instead, you should say: "I hope it is never well with Tinubu..." 2. ...and the generations of his supporters - If predicting the future of one person is impossible, how do you even begin to predict that of generations of several others. Moreover, it may be unwise to hope for the poor well-being of a generations within which your own generations may marry into or work for etc. Very unwise indeed 3. Oloriburuku suggests a person has bad luck, however if you look around the man seems to have done pretty well luck-wise. He is an unqualified candidate with pretty poor record who got into the presidency. I think Oloriburuku is another incorrect assertion. 4. Oloshi suggests a person who has no wealth. I don't need to say much more about that either; it is pretty obvious the man has a lot of wealth. Ill-gotten perhaps, but he has the money in his accounts while others don't. 5. Omo asewo gbogbo means that the man and his supporters were birthed by prostitutes. This is clearly not a statement that is based on facts, but even if you were to somehow prove this, what exactly would it matter. A prostitute can give birth to a horrible child or a good child, depending on how the child is raised |

Nonywendy:No o. I think it is the fear of boiling water to bathe during harmattan. May God see us all through. Regardless, it is good to learn how to be conservative. Wasting things because we can afford to isn't something to be proud of |
luvlyoracle:Ooh! He almost giveth, then [last minute] he taketh away I imagine you'll return in january, yeah? Not before that |
luvlyoracle:I'm happy to take this off your hands if you still have it by some miracle |
Thank you. |
'Jesus is Not God' is not a derogatory or inflammatory statement. It is a testament to how far we've fallen that such basic facts are so controversial. The bible does not support the idea of Jesus being God. It's a shame that Muslims have to be the one to point this out to our cousins in Christianity. Having said that, I understand that one must take the temperature of the environment when taking steps on issues such as this. Yes, muslims know this to be true but if the banner will cause total chaos, it's best to avoid it. They miscalculated and retraced their steps and that's commendable. Removing the banner isn't an acknowledgement that the message is wrong and those muslims will be happy to publicly debate the matter in an intellectual manner. In other words, if Christians sue for defamation on this matter, they will lose horribly, and the Quran will not even be entered into evidence. But nobody argues because of sense anymore, or truth... We do it for points and virtue signalling, Christians and Muslims alike. Anyway, perhaps they'll find a better way to convey the message. It is not an attack on your religion that your God is one. Neither Jesus nor Moses nor Abraham will know what the heck you're talking about if they were on a debate panel in which you, a Christian, is defending the statement that Jesus is God. Ask questions about the proof of such a statement rather than having a knee-jerk reaction. For the remaining 99% of people who automatically think this post is trash... E ma binu, I was only trying to address the 1%. I apologize in advance |

NaijaSumi:I know we are at that tipping point where drastic action must be taken. I half suggested a political movement whose core principle is for members to willingly sign their acceptance of execution if they're ever found guilty of stealing. It was a joke but not really. Things are that bad |
NaijaSumi:Be careful what you wish for. Otherwise we'll just repeat Iraq & Libya in our own frontyard |

Let's revisit this December 2025 before i make any comment |
Is it lowkey illiteracy that is haunting or people or just willful ignorance? Why will someone read that and still say stupid things like... You shouldn't challenge someone like that without evidence to back it up. The complain is that you shouldn't throw a man a jail when all you have is an accusation of defamation. If you want to throw someone in jail for defamation (which i dunno how it even makes sense to do so) it should be for proven defamation. Farotimi is in custody for alleged defamation. If the matter goes to court and all the evidence that you're screaming for shows he was right, you won't say you're sorry for speaking nonsense in the first place, nor would you support his opponent being thrown in jail for the same period he was wrongly detained |
