Fashion › Re: Sony Launches Wearable Body Air Conditioner by Abdujapha(m): 3:51am On Jul 29, 2019 |
Finally some hope for some outdoor workers in the middle east..... Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Oman etc.. Nice one Sony YugoMag: These days, almost all offices now have air conditioners in them, likewise, the cars we drive around and the taxi’s we board.
Ever been in a bus or public transportation without an Air Conditioner, with the bus filled to capacity under a hot sun? What will you do if you find yourself in such a situation? Probably nothing, you only just have to wait till you get to your destination or wait till when substantial air gets into the public transport before you could feel alright. https://www.yugo.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Sony-company-Logo-1.png
Some of us might have wondered if it could be possible to invent an Air conditioner that can keep the body cool at all times, even when we’re in motion.
Wonder no more as the Japanese Company; Sony just made it a reality with their New “Wearable Body Air Conditioner”. The new Sony Wearable Air Conditioner is of the same size as a SmartPhone, but smaller.
One of the best features of the Wearable Air Conditioner is that it has a Cooling and Warming feature, as it cools you down when you’re feeling hot and warms you up when you feel cold. Isn’t that superb?
The wearable air conditioner tagged “Reon Pocket” comes with a special undershirt with a pocket at the base of the neck where you can slip in the Reon Pocket Air conditioner, connect the device to its app in your smartphone and then use the Bluetooth to power it on.
After getting it up and running with your smartphone’s Bluetooth, you can then select between cooling and heating feature; whichever suits the weather.
According to Sony, the Reon Pocket is capable of cooling a user’s body temperature by 13 degrees Celsius (23 degrees Fahrenheit) on hot days, and on hot days, it can raise a user’s temperature by about 8 degrees Celsius (about 14 degrees Fahrenheit). https://www.yugo.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Wearable-Body-air-conditioner-special-shirt-2.png
Reon Pocket’s charge time is 2 hours, it uses USB-C charger and its battery lasts up to 24 hours. The wearable air conditioner iOS and Android operating system.
The Reon Pocket’s not noticeable when worn as its soo small and weighs a mere 85 grams (3 ounces).
The wearable body air conditioner comes in 2 types which are ‘Reon Pocket Standard and Reon Pocket Lite.
Reon Pocket Lite is cheaper than Reon Pocket Standard and it comes with manual mode operation. While the standard also lets you manually control the temperature via your smartphone. The Reon Pocket standard also lets you tweak the air volume and it also has a customizable “my mode.”
Unfortunately, the Reon Pocket is only available in Japan for now and the Prices range from 12,760 yen (~$117) to 19,030 yen (~$175), depending on the version and how many undershirts you want to buy with it.
According to Sony, the full production should be expected around March 2020.

This sounds rather strange. Were you interviewed via skype? Have you tried to contact the said oil and gas company through their contact info gotten through google search? I know most employers usually cover relocation logistics for oversea hires. I mean upfront not reimbursement afterwards. kannyt01: Hi professionals and experienced UAE expatriates.
My story I just got an offer of employment to an oil n gas firm in Abu Dhabi but with a condition of using a designated travel agency MENA tourism agency LLC UAE, are they real? plus my employment letter covers for me n family, benefits stated on my offer letter too. But I am a bit skeptical on the condition of paying for the travel package but surely the organisation will reimburse me total expenses for the migration.
Please advise are they real? |

Easy to spot a well informed individual tey4tobyy8005: Are you coming for employment or for treatment? If for employment, there are categories of jobs that being hepatitis B positive will affect and might get you deported. These include nannies, housemaids, and nursery workers; hairdressing salon workers; beauty centre workers; health club workers; anyone working in processing or food-control authorities; and those in cafes and restaurants. These are professions that have more human-to-human contact, so if your profession is not in any of this field then you are free.
It also depends on whether the virus is acute or chronic and whether you are just a carrier or you can infect another person with it, so what I will advice is for you to know your status. Do a full hepatitis B test which include
1.Liver function test ( to know if it had affected your liver 2. Ultrasound for liver 3. HVB DNA Quantitative 4. Complete blood count
This will let u know your viral loads and whether you need further treatments or not.
PS; I'm a carrier and have been in the UAE for 4yrs with no issue |

It's a pretty easy/less demanding training but the job of a JP who knows what he doing ain't beans. He is expected to be 100% in charge of the job/task on site .....preparing all neccessary job permits and certificates, coordinates very closely with HSE folks and Engineering also. It's fun sha if you have previous field experience and enjoy outdoor project actualization. A good stepping stone tho a good number of contractors don't really pay good but still on still.....5k no bad. Just take it a day at a time man. ugsams: Have you done the course? I work in an AD.CO field although ADC.O has been baptized same as other companies in the group, so I'm guess the name will be updated soon or the course is obsolete.
I don't have the certificate neither have I done any training on that, but I perform some task that requires PTW system.
I will ask around to learn more about this, both from ADCO and Service company guys. However, I will admit that someone has asked me about this before but passively. |

They were neck deep in merging parastatals (job cuts) due to the federal order to implement the increase in emiratisation quota. I still get mails from HR inquiring about my availability and all. Yeah, I met a couple of high ranking naija folks at their office.....trust now, I was proudly naija @dt instant oh |

gabbychill9922: My dear, construction job in Dubai is on a whole different level. It is modern day slavery. The sun in this part of the world is terrible coupled with poor salary, poor living condition, and the rest. More so, don't think changing job in Dubai is a piece of cake. The economy is shrinking and companies are either downsizing or managing to retain their workers.
Again, a majority of companies are looking for individuals with 2 yrs to 5 yrs experience, not 6 months, since they believe that if you can run away from your company after 6 months, you are likely to leave their's same way.
In addition, labor migration in Dubai tends to follow a trend. If you have experience in construction, you are likely to be considered for jobs requiring such gulf experience, except you have a highly sort after skill and grace of God.
All the best! Well said bro..... Let he who has ears hear. |
