I registered on a foreign job portal (Wisdom Jobs Gulf) about 2months ago, hoping for international job offers in the Middle East and Arabian countries. My phone rang today and I saw that it was an international number. I thought it was a scam but I nontheless picked the call. The caller identified himself as calling from Wisdom Jobs. I listened with rapt attention as I really fought with the heavily Indian accent.
In summary, he promised to forward my profile/cv to a client (I think in Kuwait ). This prospective client is willing to pay for my flight ticket and visa application. In addition, the job comes with free accommodation and feeding. In addition to $2000 salary.
All these and more for an activation fee of $150. He even sent an email to confirm the phone conversation.
That was where I paused (hollup in Frank Ordega's voice). Even in Naija, I don't pay for job offers. I feel this is GLND international. Does anyone know anything about Wisdom Jobs Gulf or secured any international offers with them.

All those wisdom gulf jobs that require activation fee for your cv to be viewed by prospective clients are a "NO NO" for me mehn....
The idea of paying for employment consideration is totally wrong in my own opinion.

Actually 8 test scripts per candidate

But, recall they (HR) said to be done within five (5) working days.

From the look of things I believe those that are getting the interview invites are not those that had d test.
Secondly we were told the next stage for those of us that did the psychometric test will be employment offer.
From this I want to believe they still need more pple reason the offer is still being delayed.
Guys keep calm no one has been called to come pick up offer.

when we asked the hr guys that will they give feedback to everybody that wrote the psychometric test? he laughed and responded that dont we know that if some didnt get feedback while others did, it means they have been dropped and that, that is how it has been right from the onset of the recruitment to the next stages. So bro, if you werent called for a psychometric test after you did your interview and up till now you havnt been given feedback for an offer some who didnt proceed to the group discussion stage, were called straight for interview and have been given offers. I know two people who have then know that you were dropped already. no bad feelings, just fact.

Hey, I've been silently reading comments here.. Not to make anyone feel bad, I just want to state what I think is happening in dangote recruitment now. I think those that passed the interview were not sent psychometric test mails. And then those that were sent is to give them a second chance. My reason I said it is this.. If they actually wanted to cut down more people, they wouldn't have put up another advert for 50 more online and would have just stopped at interview and sent offer mails.. My guess is that those that did the interview were not up to the number they wanted and were further cut down by the number that passed. So whatever is going on, those that know they did very great in their interview and didn't get mails, don't fret and those that did the psychometric test.. We all have to pray for favour

I beg to differ.
The HR team cannot invite over a hundred and fifty people to make up the required number as you opined.
The psychometric test was indeed a continuation of the recruitment process.

The just concluded Executive Trainee Application was the second recruitment drive as explained by the HR folks on the psychometric test day. There is also likely to be a third recruitment drive sometime next year.

So thoughtful of you to open such a thread. I am a Civil Engineering Graduate with 3years+ in offshore Oilfield Construction/Installation. I have a couple of HSE certs. I also have an Introductory level well control certificate which I sponsored myself due to my dream of getting a job on the rig.
I would have proceeded to undertaking the proper IADC well control course but was advised to get hands on experience on a drilling rig, and I was made to understand I would begin as a roustabout which I am very okay with. This brings me back to the same issue of finding genuine agency/agencies that recruit for drilling rigs.
Bros, I'll really appreciate your recommendations as to getting a drilling rig recruitment agency.

Just like I said earlier, I asked my interviewer if the technical interview will be the last stage n he said there MIGHT be a psycometry test depending on the number of people that PASSED the technical interview.
So thinking this psycometry test is being used to feel the gap......

I doubt at the emboldened. The psychometric test A.K.A personality test was to further cut down the number of applicants to be employed in this first recruitment drive.
There's going to be subsequent recruitment campaigns afterwards.
So, if anyone who didn't get to the just concluded psychometric test stage is up for it....I strongly urge you to re-apply in the ongoing Executive Trainee recruitment campaign.
